Introduction

Background of the Study

Employees have a significant role in the operation of businesses, particularly

in the area of production. To ensure the quality and reliability of their work,

employees must achieve the performance standards established by the business.

Employees require a work environment that allows them to operate freely without

obstacles that can prevent them from realizing their full potential if they are to satisfy

organizational standards.

One of the most important factors influencing organizational behavior is job

satisfaction. It is the attitude an employee has toward their company. The best way to

measure an employee's level of commitment and loyalty to their company is through

their level of job satisfaction.

It should be remembered that job satisfaction affects the employee's feeling

of security in the enterprise. A satisfied employee feels better in the company,

perform better his work, but above all feels safe when it comes to his future and work

in the enterprise. That is why job satisfaction is such an important element of the

work safety (Wolniak and Olkiewicz, 2019; Niciejewska, 2017).

The purpose of the study is to evaluate employees' job satisfaction and work

performance. A survey asking employees of a selected business to rate their degree

of job satisfaction was conducted in order to accomplish this goal. The study

provided information on the overall level of worker satisfaction.


Statement of the problem

Generally, this study aims to determine the job satisfaction of employees in

Amare La Cucina in Torres Farm and Resort Naic, Cavite.

Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following.

1.What is the demographic profile of the participant?

1.1 age,

1.2 gender, and

1.3 job position.

2. What is the level of job satisfaction among employees in terms of?

2.1 salary,

2.2 work environment, and

2.3 schedule

3. What are the problems encounter during performance of their job in Amare La

Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort Naic, Cavite?

Objectives of the Study

Generally, this study aims to determine the job satisfaction of employees in Amare La
Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort Naic, Cavite.
Specifically, the study seeks the:

1. To determine the demographic profile of the participant?

1.1 age,

1.2 gender, and

1.3 job position.

2. To determine the level of job satisfaction among employees in terms of?

2.1 salary,

2.2 work environment, and

2.3 schedule.
3. To determine the problems encounter during performance of their job in Amare La

Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort Naic, Cavite?

Significance of the Study

This study aims to determine the job satisfaction among the employees in

Amare La Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort Naic, Cavite. The following will benefits

from finding this study.

Employees/staff – this will help the employee to work well in their jobs and stay

longer with a company.

Owner – this will help the owner to create a smooth relationship with their staff and

develop new strategies.

To The Resort – this will help the resort to be well-known not just only for their staff,

also to their good quality service.

Time and Place of the Study

The research was undertaken in October to December 2022 during first semester
school year.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The scope of this study will focus to finding out the job satisfaction in Amare

La Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort in Naic, Cavite. The study will determine the

level job satisfaction that may encounter in restaurant.

This study will not cover the other factors of job satisfaction like promotion,

the atmosphere in the team and at the office.

20 employees in Amare La Cucina at Torres Farm and Resort in Naic, Cavite

will be participants.
Definition of Terms

A. Job a piece of work, especially a specific task done as part of the routine of one’s

occupation or fan an agreed price.

B. Satisfaction the pleasure that you feel when you do something or get something

that you wanted or needed to do or get.

C. Employee an employee is someone businesses hire and pay for work

performed. Employees are classified as people who take direction from other

professionals within the company.

Theoretical Framework

Job satisfaction is considered as one of the main factors of the effectiveness

and efficiency of business organizations. In fact, the new managerial paradigm,

which insists that employees should be treated primarily as someone who has their

own needs and personal desires, is a very good indicator of the importance of job

satisfaction in modern enterprises. Analyzing job satisfaction, it can be concluded

that a satisfied employee is a happy employee and a happy employee is successful

employee (Aziri,2011)

Employee efficiency and work performance have always been an important

issue for organization managers (Kelidbari et al., (2011). Employees who are very

committed to their organization ensure a high level of the services' or products'

quality, maintenance, productivity and generate higher profits. Employees have more

than job satisfaction, are happy that they can serve and are promoters of products

and brands. There is evidence that employee involvement increases work


performance and overall productivity, creates a better and more productive work

environment, reduces employee absence and work leaving (Bin Shmailan 2016).
