#ComeTogetherForPride

JUNE 3, 2023
PANSOL, LAGUNA

@TemptationSat
About Us
We, Team Temptation Saturday, are a group of friends responding to a growing need of the gay
community in the Metro - that is to “host and mount a party that will go beyond everyone’s
expectations”. “Temptation Saturday” is a volunteer-managed, not-for-profit event that originated as
an idea, an idea of people getting together, boys getting together, and going to a certain place, to
have really great parties and enjoy themselves. Here, “everyone is welcome and celebrated,
regardless of whether you’re gay, bisexual, trans, discreet gays, or whatever you want to be. When
you come to a party that we host, everybody will be treated as a member of the family. “Temptation
Saturday” intends to be a LGBT dance event; a party to respond to the diversity of the community
and culture, gathered together in one place to enjoy the night as we dance for hours and hours of
good music with friends and new-found friends while enjoying our drinks.

Introduction
This is an “Aqua-holic” Gay Party meaning a pool and drinking party. We launched back in
December 2021, had our second event last March 2022, our third event was held last October 8,
2022, and our recent event was held last February 25, 2023. Our aim is to bring together a great
community of like-minded people who love music, fun, and partying, and enjoy their time together
with all members of the gay community. This party allows you to really let loose and express yourself
without any judgment, knowing that your sexuality will be welcomed and celebrated. Our party feels
particularly special because it attracts a diverse crowd, with men of all ages and nationalities. This is
also a fundraising event to benefit to fight against HIV/AIDS.

#PartyWithAMessage - One goal of our team is to raise visibility on certain issues that affect the
community. Given the state of the SOGIE bill in the country and the unjust discrimination the gay
community continues to face today, it has never been more important to take a stand, discuss, talk,
and resist the prejudice. The event hosts multiple efforts that support everything from education on
specific issues to celebration. Perhaps one of the most important initiatives we have is HIV testing,
which accommodates everyone in the community and in the future to our allies.

Though we know that the world still faces COVID-19 and mass gatherings have been already
allowed for months, we are still taking precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the virus; we
have decided to still push this through with the proviso that existing protocols will be followed such
as mandatory presenting of vaccination card, the social distancing of the participants by choice,
and wearing of face mask.
Temptation Saturday 1
With gender equality, unity, acceptance, and HIV/AIDS discussion as our main focus, our first
‘Temptation Saturday ‘event was held last Dec. 11, 2021, at Pansol, Laguna. It was attended by 65
attendees.

Temptation Saturday 2.0

#NothingButLove - The Philippines had the fastest-growing HIV epidemic in ASIA and the pacific
region and HIV prevalence in the Philippines rose by 207% from 2010-2019. As of February 2021, there
have been at least 4,719 Filipinos who died of HIV since the first case was reported in January 1984.
This event raises awareness of how important it is to practice safe sex, get tested, and the myths
and misconceptions about HIV and AIDS. We know that it will be hard to stop discrimination and
stigma and that is why #NothingButLove was created to end the irrational hatred, intolerance, and
fear if people are well-informed. Our second event was held last March 19, 2022, at Pansol, Laguna
and was attended by 70-80+ attendees.
Temptation Saturday 3.0
#AllTheLove - Our next event was held last Oct. 8, 2022, at Pansol, Laguna. We are able to gather
140-150+++ attendees for the said event. 3.0. This time our event includes a DJ, Drag Queens, Go
go boys, etc. Our event theme, #AllTheLove, aims to discuss all the love that we experience but
most importantly the least talked about kind of love which is 'SELF LOVE'. We reminded our
attendees of how to love themselves more esp. with the insecurities they might have, they could
feel that they're never enough. We all struggle with our appearances and this event made us
reminded of how to accept ourselves fully, treat ourselves with kindness and respect and also how
can we share love to others.
Temptation Saturday 4.0
Our event theme is '#LiveKINDLY' - To further raise awareness on Mental Health, our theme aims to
help us believe in and appreciate ourselves more, despite whatever we may be facing. It is
important to nurture ourselves by empowering other individuals to be a conduit of change through
the spirit of action fueled by kindness. Kindness has been proven to improve well-being and
happiness. With kindness in everyone's heart, we can prevent many problems like mental health
issues, and enjoy good overall health and a state of well-being. Our mental health is as important
as our physical health, so this event will be another reminder for everyone to take care of and
learn to love themselves. This event was attended by 250+++ attendees.
PREVIOUS PARTNERS:
Dear Valued Community Partner,

Pride is a celebration, a movement, and a coming together of the LGBTQI+ communities and
allies to celebrate how far the advocacy for equality has come and to reignite the further fight
ahead toward liberty for all. We have attained victories and made great strides but In most
recent times, the landscape has remained mostly unchanged; the queer community is still
subject to the same ruthless cycle of discrimination, hate crimes, and systemic violence. Spaces
are still terrorized at the cost of violated rights, and heightened oppression welcomes those who
assert their diverse identities. The pardon of the American soldier, Pemberton, after he
committed a heinous crime against our sister, Jennifer Laude, and the failure of the
administration to pass the SOGIE equality bill are among the many testaments of the denial and
deprivation of equal rights.

As we celebrate PRIDE MONTH this June, we come together to provide a safe space for the
LGBTQI+ community - to discuss, inspire and realize what everyone can do to create change in
the gay community. Our event will be held on June 03, 2023; 7 PM at Pansol, Laguna. It will be
attended by 350-400+++ participants from different areas of the Philippines. The program will
discuss and highlight different topics such as Pride Celebration, HIV/Aids prevention, and Gender
discussion. There will be concessionaires around the venue, and buffet meals, drinks will be
provided. We have invited drag queens to perform, spoken poetry artists, LED dancers, Gogo
boys, queer artists, and DJ, etc. A lot of activities will happen simultaneously as well. All of this,
simply because we love; simply because we have committed ourselves to be here for each
other.

In line with this, We are hoping to partner with you in promoting our event. Pride is not
seasonal. It is a protest we do everyday. Amidst the fear, pacification, and challenges, let us
continue our advocacy for every person's identity and rights. Let us collectively champion a
society free from discrimination, repression, and violence. As a media sponsor, we would like
your assistance in publishing new stories/articles, and other items of interest that will help
promote Temptation Saturday 5.0 to your readers, viewers, or listeners. In return, we will include
your company/brand name and logo on all our promotional material, such as: posters, social
accounts, event programs, event shirt, event bracelet, and advertising, and publicly remarks at
our pre and main event.

Through this event, we look back at our past, document our present, and campaign for a better
future for the LGBTQI+ community. Our celebration of Pride does not end; rather, we use the
momentum that Pride has built for the further work ahead. Join us - let us forge a more inclusive
society for all beyond Pride Month.

You are definitely welcome to join us and maximize this event to promote your company/brand.
Your support will be publicly recognized and promoted. For other inquiries, please call our head
