Module 4 – Old Testament Survey

The aim of this module is to orient the student in the world and background of each of the Old
Testament books by a survey of the history, geography, socio-cultural background, content and
themes of the Old Testament generally and of each of the Old Testament documents
specifically.

Examination & Assessment (For Full-Track Students)

Participants must complete the required reading and attend and / or view the video recording
for each of the classes in order to pass the course. Additionally students will be assessed on the
following basis.

 Short Answer Questions – 40%


 MCQ Test – 60 questions – 60%

 Extra Credit – 2% for each recommended reading text completed during the course
(up to a maximum of 10%)
