WHAT IS THE
PAST SIMPLE?
The simple past is a grammatical tense that
expresses situations or actions that occurred
in the past, and although they may be from
the recent past or the distant past, their
duration is not important; it should only be
understood that these have already ended.

When the simple past is formed, it is With verbs ending in a consonant
