RETIREMEMT PARTY

DR. VIRGINIA P. MACAPAGAL

FIRST PART
I. PRELUDE
SAM: A joyous day to all of us teachers, we are about to start our luncheon Havana party for our
beloved Principal Dr. Virginia P. Macapagal, as she is celebrating another blissful year added to her
life, this day also serve her 30 years of serving the education sector. Today, we hope to have a lot of
fun, share some laughs, and shed just a few tears as we send Ma’am Virgie into a HAPPY
retirement.

II. WELCOMING GUEST


LORLYN: In looking over the guest list for our luncheon today, we were amazed that all people
who are present today means so much to our beloved principal. From her family members to her
former colleagues, our supervisors and superintendent are also here, and her close friends, we would
like to thank you all for taking the time out from your heavy schedules and marking this spectacular
function with your glorious presence. Thank you so much for coming today.

III. INTRODUCTION/GRAND ENTRANCE OF THE CELEBRANT


SAM: Ladies and gentlemen, we all know why we have been gathered here for. Today we have all
gathered here as a family to honor, appreciate and pay tribute to the most precious and beloved,
hardworking principal, mentor, leader on her retirement day.
I know everyone is unhappy to bid goodbye, but meanwhile, we are pleased that she would now be
able to give time for her family and friends. Let’s all welcome with a big round of applause our dear
Principal, Dr. Virginia P. Macapagal.

IV. SONG OF PRAISE


LORLYN: To begin our celebration everyone is invited to vow our heads and engage ourselves for
the song of praise.

V. OPENING WORDS
SAM: To represent our manifestation of goodwill send off to Dr. Macapagal, here is our faculty
president Mr. Montano D. Pinlac for his opening words.

SAM: Once again we are pleased to wish Ma’am Macapagal a new journey of success and
happiness in the new page your life. May you be showered with abundant opportunities to do what
your heart desires. And as a token of gratitude in remembering all the service you rendered. Let’s all
look to a video presentation as we all reminisce the good old days of our Dr. Macapagal

VIII. CAKE BLOWING


LORLYN: to enlighten us more for our today’s special gathering let’s celebrate the birthday
celebration milestone of Ma’am Virgie before she reached her fulfilled age. By remembering every
special natal day of her life and by blowing each birthday candle on her cake.
Let start with the day she turned:

One year old, 1st birthday is no less than a milestone in the life of parents and the child both. After
all the struggles, survival, and growth they achieve this together. So, it becomes a special day to
celebrate. (Narly A. Undar)
7th birthday…the day she entered grade school after hurdling the pre-school levels. t is therefore seen
as an important milestone in the life of a child. (Liezel P. Nievales)

SAM: 18TH Birthday, This is the age that marks the end of childhood yet the start of being a legal
adult, to represent the 18 well wishers here are the Master teachers as they symbolize the flowers and
the candles that are usually present in an 18th birthday

LORLYN: 25TH Birthday usually called “silver jubilee” or silver anniversary, some people may
choose to celebrate this milestone with a party or special event, while others may simply reflect on
25 years of life or simply the age of dreaming big. ( Maricon Brioso )
The 30th birthday is special. You are now officially a mature and responsible adult who has the
necessary wisdom to make important decisions in life. The 30th birthday heralds your adult status
with measured indulgence, also called a marrying age ( Marilou Oliveros )

SAM: Life begins at 40…signifies a real landmark in their lives ( Jasmin Pantilanan )
Turning 50 has also been considered a golden birthday year, this milestone birthday celebrates half a
century of life! ( Ivy Rose Juanitas )

LORLYN: Celebrating 60th birthday, marks as having a dual Citizenship, being a natural born
Filipino, and a Senior Citizen, this milestone birthday comes with many perks, like discounts on
travel, restaurants, and more. ( Gretchen Dordas )
Turning 65 is a significant milestone birthday because it means It's also a time to reflect on life and
accomplishments. It is a time to assess where you’ve been, where you’re going. So Ma’am Virgie…
time for you to blow all your candles
SECOND PART:
I. GRADE LEVEL PRESENTATIONS
SAM: To delight us for this day’s celebration here are the grade level presentation as they sing,
dance and laugh to greet you on your very special day.

II. AT THIS PART LUNCH IS ABOUT TO SERVE, BEFORE HAVING A LUNCH AT THE
BUFFET AREA THE HOST WILL CALL THE TEACHERS PER GRADE LEVEL TO HAVE A
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY WITH OUR CELEBRANT, AFTERWARDS THEY CAN PROCEED
TO BUFFET AREA TO GET THEIR FOOD.

SAM: And finally after witnessing all these memorable presentation we vested to our dear maam
Virgie lets hear now the words that she will intricate to our hearts before formally she bids farewell
to all of us…lets welcome again our dear principal Dr. Virginia P. Macapagal.
