Livelihood towards Affordable crops Yield)

DATE: 1. Develop student’s awareness about the importance of
planting crop and vegetables.
GOAL/PURPOSE: 2. Promote the program of our government and strengthen
the culture in the farming.
3. Help the sustainability of crop and vegetables supply in
the community
4. Experience the students to convert their crop into profit.
5. Strengthen further the camaraderie of the students,
teachers, parents and stakeholders.
6. Promote the school as organic farming-oriented school.

DESCRIPTION: The Project Gulay with the theme “ Gulayan ay Palawakin, Upang
Nutrisyon ay Anihin”, is one of the yearly project of our school,
Dalupaon National High School, which is every section have
assigned territories for gardening of different kinds of vegetables
including medicinal plants. There is a competition for every
section for the Best Gualayanof the year following to the criteria
to each section. The methods of this Gulayan are though vertical
gardening and bio-intensive gardening that is applying the
concept of an organic farming.
