NOTICE
APPLICATION FOR THE PROCESS OF ONLINE LL.M. ADMISSION – 2020-2021

Candidates belonging to General Category & Reserved Category such as SC,ST, OBC,SBC & VJNT / DT / NT (A,
B, C, D), EWS, etc. from Mumbai University and Other than Mumbai University, who have applied for LL.M.
admission but could not get the admission upto Fifth Merit List, may apply for admission to the vacant seats
through Online Google Form on the link given below in other Group depending on the vacant chart on or
before 18.05.2021 upto 2.00 p.m.

List of the vacant seats is enclosed along with this Notice.

Application to all vacant seats will be considered from those candidates who have applied for it
through this Google form Link only.

The process of LL.M. admission is subject to online LL.M. CET Result 2020, verification of relevant documents
and certificates, the eligibility criteria, rules and regulations of the University of Mumbai and also subject to the
reservation policy of Government of Maharashtra.

1. Final merit list of eligible candidates will be displayed at the earliest on the Notice Board of
the Department of Law and will be uploaded on University of Mumbai Website -
https://mu.ac.in/department-of-law . Candidate should check the website frequently for all
updates in this regard.
2. LL.M. Admission process will be spot admission and through Google Meet Link. The Link,
time, slot and guidelines will be displayed at the time of Final Merit List.

3. Following self-attested documents should be uploaded while filling up online application on the above link.

a. LL.B. marksheet Sem V & Sem VI in case of Three Years LL.B. course, Sem IX & Sem X marksheet in
case of Five Years LL.B. Course. In case of non- availability of final semester LL.B. marksheet, a copy of
marksheet duly attested by respective college Principal.

b. Candidates belonging to SC & ST Category should submit copy of the Caste Certificate from the
competent authority.

c. Candidates belonging to OBC, SBC & VJNT / DT / NT (A, B, C, D) must submit valid Non-Creamy Layer
Certificate along with the Caste certificate. (Receipt of application for Non-Creamy Layer Certificate to
the appropriate authority will be accepted.)

d. All eligible candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) should submit EWS Eligibility
Certificate by the competent authority.

e. Candidates applying for Other Quotas (Divyang, Freedom Fighter, Sports, Single Mother, Widow,
Orphan etc.) should upload the necessary documents for the same.

NOTE: Since entire LL.M. admission process has been online right from the beginning, no offline
application will be entertained.

Candidate should apply for only one Group of LL.M. depending on availability of list of vacant
seats of LL.M. Group.

Candidate should note that there will not be any further Merit List for online LL.M. Admission
2020-2021.

In case the candidate has given inaccurate information or the candidate is found to be ineligible,
the Department of Law reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidate.
