Both pictures expresses art and talent , a contemporary art. Artists creating those
arts expresses their feelings and it reflects on who they are.They demonstrate the
numerous ways in which various forms of art might pique our interest. These arts can
be seen in different things but one thing they have in common is their meaning and
impact to the society.
3. In a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the presentation, significance and viewers’
impact for each picture? Explain each rating.
•1st pic - I rate them 10 since billboards are really a great way to promote services
and product and it did work on the citizens living in cities/urban places.
•2nd pic- i rate them 8, yes they are colorful and easily seen by most people passing
by. Its one way to communicate with people by warning them about safety travels and
giving directions to its destination
•3rd pic - I rate them 8, most graffitis are really a good art in a community but for
some instances(for example), it is use by activists to express their bad insights about the

community and even the government to catch their attention. Another one, some artist use
graffiti that shows transgressive arts which depicts reverse insights about religious
matters
•4th pic - Sculptures, I rate them 10. They are my favorite art. It demostrates the
community's unique cultural and traditional charm
•5th pic - 9 probably since it is one of the creative methods in engaging with the
public's attention and its also a great way in expressing art in contemporary times
although, its very common in our society
4. Why do young people fail to recognize or pay attention to these works of art these
days?
Well, most young people does this because of the impact of the advancements in
our modern society. Our lives are revolving around technology and and its one way
so that we can't patronize the art that we have. Technology becomes so popular and
so essential in our daily lives. However, instead of developing our skills/talents in
diff art forms, we chose to rely ourselves in in the advancement technology. For
example, we plagiarize and use AI to create art which weakens the societies art
culture and losing the originalities

Observing Art: Understanding the Form, Media and Style
Integrative Art comes in different sizes and shapes, forms and styles. This art can be
observed in Junk Art. Junk Art is a sculptural rendition using discarded or used
materials usually scrap plastic, cartons, paper, metal or glass. Observe and analyze this
artwork and answer the questions.

Give your understanding of the following terms with reference to creating art:
4. Bihasa - means being accustomed and skillful just like the word "galing", they are
pretty similar to each other.
5. Sanay - "sanay" literally means being "used to". But in creating an art, it means
that an individual is profecient in creating an artwork. It is expert / cognoscente
(noun.).
One is resourceful if one has the ability to find quick and clever ways to get art
materials from one’s surroundings. One is creative if one can use his or her imagination in
coming up with an artwork that is considered original and has never been done or
created before. The combination of resourcefulness and creativity can bring out the artist in
everyone.
It is about time for you to put your resourcefulness into good use. Make your
experience as a jump-off point in appreciating the Arts. In this activity, you need to go into
your mind in order to come up with a realistic idea of the kind of artwork that you would

Seashore, Compared to other locations we could say that the seashore has the
least availability of materials, cause it only has the availability of 3 materials the sand,
seashells,and rocks that you can find in the seashore.
3. Among the possible artworks that you can create, which one do you think is the most
feasible or doable? Why?
We can say that the posiible artworks that is most feasible or doable are
bottled pencil case. It is because it is easy-to-make, the availability of the materials
especially the main material which is plastic bottle is available and it is supported by
hand-made
