Purification Procedure

The test in the collected water sample in Setup A and B was as follows: a full
bottle of River water was poured in Experimental Setup A and B. Then, a full bottle of
Canal water was poured in Experimental Setup A and B. The researchers used Physical
Testing to observe the change in color after obtaining all the filtered water using a pH
level in Table 1.1.
Table 1.1

Scale Color Saturation Filtering Intensity

0 Light Grey Very competent

1 Grey Nearly Competent

2 Light Black Poor Competent

3 Black Not Competent At All

The likert scale shown below are the data range by the researchers to identify
the pH level of the water and to testify the classification ahead of 3.50 - 4.00 as satisfied,
2.50 – 3.49 slightly satisfied, 1.50 – 2.49 as unsatisfied, 1.00 – 1.49 as highly unsatisfied. With
this table, the pH level can be finally determined and can evaluate the classification according to
the effectiveness of water lily.

pH level Classification

3.50 - 4.00 satisfied

2.50 – 3.49 slightly satisfied

1.50 – 2.49 unsatisfied

1.00 – 1.49 highly unsatisfied
