MATERIALS NEEDED:

● 3mm and 4mm Crochet Hook


● 50g worsted weight/aran yarn in contrasting colours

● Matching embroidery thread in chosen colour (optional for sewing)
● Fibre fill stuffing
● Stitch marker (optional)

DOUGHNUT BASE: (Using a 4mm hook)

**working in rounds chain 20 join the chain with a SS

RD 1) CH 1; 1 SC into the same stitch followed by 2 SC into the next stitch repeat 1sc,
2sc until the end of the round (30)

RD 2) SC 30 stitches around (30)

RD 3) SC into the first 2 stitches followed by 2 SC into the next stitch. repeat around
(40)

RD 4) SC 40 stitches around (40)

RD 5) SC into the first 3 Stitches followed by 2 SC into the next stitch. repeat around
(50)

RD 6-11) SC 50 stitches around ((6 round)) (50)

RD 12) SC into the first 3 Stitches then INV DEC into the next stitch. repeat around (40)

RD 13) SC 40 stitches around (40)

SPRINKLES: ​(optional)

Using a small amount of your preferred coloured yarn; using a darning needle weave
in from the back to the front of the icing small sprinkle lines, as many as you wish;
pull yarn to the back of the icing part tie off. Now it is time to sew the icing to the
doughnut

EARS: (Make 2 using a 4mm hook)

OPTION 2:

Using your chosen colour embroidery thread or yarn, sew on closed eyes 3 rows
apart just above the muzzle adding eyelashes at the corner of the closed eye forming
a sideways "V" shape, FO and weave in ends

MUZZLE: (using a 4mm hook)

RD 1) 6 SC into a magic ring (6)

RD 3) 1 SC into the first stitch, 2 SC into the next stitch; repeat all the way around (18)

RD 4) 1 SC into the first 2 stitches, 2 SC into the next stitch; repeat all the way around

RD 5-6) 1 SC into each stitch around, FO, Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing (( 2
Rounds)) (24)

BOW TIE: ​ ​(Using a 3mm hook)

ROW 1) CH 5, SC into the 2nd CH from the hook and each stitch across (4)

RD 2-14) CH 1, turn work, SC into each stitch across, repeat ((13 rows)) (4)

FO, Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing, fold the bow in half and sew down the
centre of the bow, then wrap the tail around the centre to give it a bow shape

ASSEMBLY:

● Sew Doughnut from the centre of the small hole, stuffing with fibre filling as
you go along to get a firm round shape

● Attach the Icing (with or without sprinkles) Starting from the centre hole, then
at the edges of the icing

● Embroider a nose and mouth onto the muzzle by weaving yarn back and forth
until you get your desired effect, lightly stuff and sew on the Muzzle central to
the Doughnut ring hole

● Sew on both ears each side of the Doughnut hole, at the back of the icing then
sew on the middle circles into the inner ear

● Sew on closed or open eyes in the centre of the Doughnut above the muzzle

● Attach the bow tie to the bottom of the Doughnut icing so that the bow is
facing forward in line with the doughnut hole
