Introduction:
Currently, Shamim Ahmed holds the position of Chairman for SAMI
Pharmaceuticals. A pharmaceutical is any kind of drug used for medicine
purposes, like cough syrup or sleeping pills. In general, a pharmaceutical is
anything related to pharmacies or pharmacists, though it especially refers to the
kinds of medicines that key sells.

1.Story of Success at Current Position:

Basically, success is said to be very tricky. Somehow it differs from person to
person but for me it is basically, the identification of theme what you are and
what you are willing to be, for that there are few basic things.
 Down to earth
 Patient
 Consistent
That makes you to reach some destination whatever you are willing.

2.Role Model in Struggling Story:

For role model like specifically starting from education you can say schools and
parents would be the first role model for every other person because they have
certain specific attraction to move on and for me my parents are the basically role
model but in professional life there are some other person as like one of my
teachers is that I still remember Dr. Abdul Khaliq. After that in my professional life
one of mentor is Dr. Shehla Naseem. She is working as consultant physician in
DHA and there are other people that made me to move on a specific path and
decide whether to go and whether not.
3.Initial Phase of Adjustment:
Oh! It is difficult task because there are different cultures basically from one
organization to other but when I started in 2008, started my job; professional
career at that time I was little bit puzzle but in the presence of few elders, my
confidence level reached to good heights. They give me a piece of satisfaction but
somehow it was very difficult and I must say, responsible for me and adoptable as
well.

4.Target Destination:
For me motivation is your own struggle like it doesn’t come from any other
source. Motivation is an energy that drives not an achieving a certain position or
certain thing in life. It’s basically that energy that moves for life. The thing that
makes me motivated always like still I am not that track efficient of my own mind I
must say that is my own feeling like if the challenging position you can say if I
decide to do things that makes me more pronounced person for the track.

5.Hard Time:
There was a statement, one of the things is like being a Muslim we have to lied
down to everything on Allah. So, whenever there is a hard time i started praying
so much and this motivated me always, after every darkness, there is a
brightness. So, I never decided like kind of a person keeping my energies down.
OHI you can say. I always keep my eyes on the achievement that comes after any
dark period.

6.Change of Management:
Change of management like being a supervise a something that is different from
your job like still I am under a business unit manager there is a team of 10 people
like being under supervision is something that gives you a bit of less responsibility.
So, I can adjust in the change of management and this is only thing that’s count
for being supervised.
7.Manage Workforce Diversification:
The only thing that makes me to do this to be challenging yourself to make a time
and decide what to do and what time you have to do like every time they have
certain watchlist to do and there is some important thing to come around and
there are objectives to be accomplish. So, every time I keep the time in my mind
that what time I have started my work and what time I have finished that
separates the things that to have the accomplish or not.

8.Management Theories:
Management theories like being you are a student and there are different things.
So, in practical management is something in our system is like to obey, is like that
you can say, you have to do what is being to be forwarded like being an
employee.

9.Organizational Culture:
Right now, in our organizational culture is you must say, it is a centralized culture
like everything to go through the specific points even a letter written having go
through few many points to be reach a certain position like we have a sort of
centralized culture. Everything is very organized in that system everything has to
follow a certain SOPS and protocol like even a letter is not as easy as in open
culture, So, there is a closed sort of culture.

10.Plan to Achieve:
My next level would be definitely a business manager. Recently I am working as a
senior product manager. I will be looking after whole number of required force
and I will be responsible for specific targets to achieve in a certain period of time.
11.Organizational Politics:
In every organization and in every country, there is a politics, and politics starts
when people get around and start talking about another person. So, in
organization there is not that kind of political issues, but somehow it exists so I
must say that is a thing should not be focused.

12.Impact of Organizational Politics:

In an organization, there is a huge amount of political issues and some peoples
are really suffered because of that not even they have gone through certain
things.

13.Manage the Family and Work Life:

In this fast pace, it’s very important to create a balance between work and family
life. Sometimes it becomes very difficult for me to manage this balance due to the
work load and pressure to complete the tasks timely. I mostly put the office work
at office and at home I spend my time with my family and in addition I mostly go
on outing at weekends with my family.

14.Satisfied with Work and Social Life:

No, I am not satisfied with the number of working hours as it’s above the average.
Normal working hours as per majority of the studies are around 45 hours but in
our company it’s around 54 hours. Moreover, we also have Saturdays on so it
irritates me sometime.
15.Suggest New Comes for Success Story:
Focus on following;
 Identify yourself
 Identify your purpose of being
 Listen to everyone but do what you like
 Work hard
 Evaluate your performance
 Take necessary actions
