ASSUMPTIONS

The students will be acquainted with the use of verb to be , Wh-Questions,prepositions of


time and possessive adjectives by working with the History of Rock.

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS

 Some students might take more time or less time than expected to finish the tasks.

Solution: We might lengthen or shorten some tasks according the students’ needs

 Perhaps we might have problems with the WI-FI connection or with the plucks that
may not work in the classroom .Thus, we might not be able to show them the video
about the History of Rock.

Solution: We might bring flashcards with the different bands and we will make them
interact by asking them if they know any of them and if they like rock music.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LESSON (TENTATIVE ACTIVITIES)

20’ We will greet students: Good afternoon! How are T-S S-T
you? We will ask them what date it is. And we will

introduce the topic SAMPLE
In the pre-task, we will show them a video about OF
the different bands of rock. After watching the
video, the teachers will ask them who are they? Do
you know any rock band? Do you like rock music?

Then, we will stick some flashcards about the T-S S-T S-S
different bands of rock. First we will divide students

into group a and group b .Then, they will have go in
minutes front and put in order the flashcards with the
correct age and genre. First, we will model for
example: The Ramones – 1970, genre punk rock.
Once they finished the activity we will show them
the video again.

After that , we will show them four envelopes and T-S S-T S-S
we will divide them into group A and group B and

one member of the group will have choose one. So,
minutes inside the envelopes they will a biography about
the rock band with some spaces that are in blank
and they will also have some sentences in which
they have to put the correct sentences in the
spaces which are in blank.
