Job Source: Mr Johnson intro’d by Pat’s fixer

Job Nature: Sabotage, Blow up an illegal BTL lab run by a gang known as the Black Hand
Job Payment: 50,000 NY

Session 1 18/10/2010
Ash(DM), Derek, Trav, Gaz, Twigz, Pat, Ryan

Mr Johnson had fairly minimal info on the gang, members in the low 100’s spread over a wide
area, probably 10-20 guards, he refused to increase his offer.

Trav had gang knowledge of the black hand, a medium time “go gang” most well known for
vehicle crime.
Twigz’ Net research turned up a bunch of commercial vehicle hijackings, and a few altercations
with the Haloweeners (large extremely violent gang) and the Blue Cranes (low key, not well
known gang, asian, possible triad connections)

Astral surveilance of the warehouse turned up 11 guards, two on the main floor, 5 playing cards
and watching monitors, 4 on the roof. A changeover was witnessed at 7pm using a few ricer
cars and the guards left to a plush looking apartment in a different part of the slums.

Public sources revealed a floor plan submitted to some regulatory body approximately 2 years
ago, showing two interior levels and a single stair case that went to the roof. The plan showed
exterior fire access to the roof, which was later shown to be missing (via astral or physical
inspection, I forget which) The venue had two roller doors and one side door on the plan

A run down but inhabited apartment building existed across the street. The building containted
several guards (7) who all appeared to have concealed arms (bulky jackets) public research
showed the apartment was on record as the property of a dead man (definitely something
dodgey)

Twigz took a drive to a street nearby, detected a passive node in the warehouse and a hidden
node in the apartment.

After putting some distance between himself and the apartment and spoofing his address, twigz
hacked into the apartment, found he could monitor conversations between the guards locations
of the guards, and could see some tennant lists and rent books. Unfortunately the money trail
left straight to a black bank which twigz was unwilling to risk following.

The passive node in the warehouse contained camera controls, and roller door controls. the
cameras covered each of the doors and several interior cameras. There was no logistic
information.
Trav ordered a few killograms of commercial explosives and detonators for Ryan (about 1k
worth) ryan got to work assembling them.

There was some talk of getting aid from the haloweeners or the blue cranes, but the end
decision was that their involvement would bring more risk than advantage.

At some point it occurred to us that we hadn’t seen any equipment to indicate that there was an
actual lab in the factory, so we sent the astral guy through to check if there was any sub-floors,
after a long time floating through the floor and hitting ground he found some stairs down with a
door at the end and an astral barrier just beyond the door.

With this exciting news we decided nuts to leg work lets charge the place. We got ryan to drop
us off in an alley way a fair ways off and then circle round to the vehicle entrance, Gaz levitated
everyone over the wall, made Derek and himself invisible for their approach and infiltration, they
cut the lock on the gate we were entering by, derek used his mad hardware skill so tear open
the lock on the side door and managed to open and enter it without alerting anyone.

with the mage hovering behind him derek lead the way up the stairs to the guys playing cards, 4
were at the table and one was using the monitors.

Taking as much time as he could to aim and prepare, Derek capped two card players in the
head, both dead. stepped across the room before the other two could react, got a bullet in both
of their heads, knocking them from the chairs and to the floor.

Then, before the one at the monitors even had a chance to turn around, he crossed to him and
blew his brains across the screens.

His next action was to finish off the guy moaning on the ground.

Unfortunately two more of the guards had somehow survived the bullet to the head and one of
them got a burst of his uzi off before invisible death literally punched his head off.

The burst didn’t come near to hitting a target, but it made enough noise that the guys on the roof
made a call for backup and started heading for the stairs.

Ryan took the initiative and swooped his roto drones in for a strafing run. The rooftop was lit up
with exploding AR rounds, one of the guards killed the other seriously wounded.

Two guards made it to the stair well and one stayed up top shooting at the drones. He did a
serious amount of damage to one of them.

Twigz and Pat took their cue and started out towards the entrance Derek had used, and Trav
started dragging pallets and garbage across the car park to make himself a barricade that he
could use for cover while operating his exoskeleton mounted LMG if/when backup arrived.

At this point we had to pause the session as it was past midnight.
