    A patient underwent a cystoscintigraphy scan to evaluate for vesicoureteral reflux after presenting with bilateral upper tract dilatation. The dynamic imaging showed high grade reflux on the left side, with the radiotracer reaching the pelvis of the left kidney. Mild reflux was seen on the right side only during voiding. The conclusion was that the patient has bilateral vesicoureteric reflux that is more marked on the left side.

    CPT-: RENOGRAM AND V-U REFLUX DEMONSTRATION

    Technique-:

    Scan: Cystoscintigraphy performed with 37 MBqs Tc99m DTPA given in the urinary catheter. Dynamic
    images were acquired for 30 minutes.

    History-:

    concern is bilateral upper tract dilatation

    Report-:

    Dynamic images have shown clear high grade reflux to the left kidney (Radionuclide has reached upto
    the pelvis of the left kidney). The right ureteric uptake is seen only in the voiding phase.

    Conclusion-:

    Bilateral vesico-ureteric reflux more marked on the left side.
