Abstract

Wooden with wire strands used as rebars, as it is cost effective, water resistant, heat resistant,
coating may be done, shock resistant ability provides it with the application of its usage in place of
steel rebars, having diameter of different sizes with wire strands reinforced in it, it can be used in
frame structures, wire strands are ductile steel, so it acts as ductile material with high ability to.
Sustain point loads, uniformly distributed and variable distributed loads, with high yield point, and
ability to transfer loads to concrete and with bonding with concrete, it can be wooden reinforced
concrete, high stresses in concrete tends to transfer loads to wooden bar then to wire strands,
making it cost effective structural material
