Ethylene di amine tetra acetate

Abstract

Ethylene di amine tetra acetate (EDTA) when poured or drilled or bored in concrete, its effect after
the reaction with concrete is that, it provides strength and more stability to concrete, the reaction
with concrete after gaining strength, and steel being bonded with concrete, to refrain from rending
corrosion in steel, water proof cement may be used, ferrous oxide when reacts with EDTA, it yields
at high nodes, and when EDTA reacts with concrete, it improves strength and eliminates the factors
affecting early yielding of concrete, due to curing of concrete, reinforcement can get corroded,
EDTA, protects the early yielding of steel, and thus, enhances ductile behaviour and increases yield
point of reinforced concrete
