Abstract

[1] During the seismic activity, the structure tends to collapse, following the collapse mechanism,
[2] exploding the old structure to design the new structure, the soil investigation is done, following
the design

Description

[3] The collapse mechanism is the mechanism of the structure that collapses during or due to seismic
activity,
[4] If at all the structure is designed for the collapse mechanism, the structure tends to completely
collapses,
[5] All the beams, columns, and footings tends to collapse, rebars tends to corrode, after the design
is done, following the collapse,
[6] the site area is designed, analysing proper load transfer mechanism of the structure,
[7] Calculating the sway, storey drift, dynamic analysis,
[8] Loads at ultimate and allowable loads are calculated from the table in the analysing software,
[9] Contours are read from the software showing the foundation allowable and ultimate soil
pressure,
[10] Hence when the structure is designed, it is riveted by columns, to control sway,
[11] Transferring the loads from columns to foundations,
[12] Hence restoring the original dynamics of structure

Conclusion

[13] The collapse mechanism is undergone then the structure is designed from the beginning ,
[14] hence the structure is constructed
[15] Calculating the sway and non sway dynamic analysis,
