Carrefour require supplier to exchange “critic substances” from product, to authorized ones. (“candidates
substances” of SVHC list have to be banned from Carrefour products), for each part of the finished
product
List of “critic substances” has been fixed, and supplier must test fabric according to.
By USING European dyestuff brands, supplier limit the risk of detection of “critic substances”, so limit the
risk of “fail” test results
CARREFOUR REQUEST SUPPLIER TO TEST 100% OF FABRIC, each accessory, all COLORS
(except “white color” on fabric: not to be tested) THROUGH FOLLOWING “REACH PACK”:
For REACH tests packages, requirement to consider is 30ppm per amine, 0,5 ppm for Chronium VI
and 1000ppm for other substances
Pack "REACH PVC”: 9 phtalates (DINP / DNOP / DEHP / DIDP / BBP / DBP/DIBP/DHNUP/DIHP)
Blended fabric must been tested with all REACH pack concerned (ex: for blend PES/cotton, pack
synthetic + pack cellulosic must be apply)
Polyplastic used for packing of the textile goods, must be tested with the “pack REACH PVC”
Pack "REACH PVC/TR/ABS/EVA out sole part": 9 phtalates (DINP/ DNOP/ DEHP/ DIDP/ BBP/
DBP/DIBP/DHNUP/DIHP)
To be tested according “REACH packs” (22 amines): test is already included in “pack REACH”)
“Allergenous dyestuffs” have to be tested, only on PES fibers (included blended PES)

4.3.Hypoallergenic product:
All products with the demand of “hypoallergenic” must be tested in Europe with the MARZULLI
protocol. This test is compulsory for all this kind of product.
4.4.Requirement on colorimetry:
For fabric with important relief (velvet, corduroy, polar fleece), color validation must be done by eyes,
under light box (light D65 and F11)
For common fabric, following process must be applied:
Spectrophotometer:
The diffused reading head: 8°
The open diameter: 11 mm with measure on 8 mm
Measurements:
Each measure must be performed when all production steps are finished
The same spectrophotometer must be used on the production
Before each measure, the sample must be fold in order to have an opaque sample
3 measurements on the width (left/middle/right)
The gap between the 3 measurements must be less than:
∆E CMC < +/-0,5(under D65 and F11)
IM < +/- 0,3
The equations:
E CMC (2:1) < 1,2 under D65
E CMC (2:1) < 1,2 under F11
Metamerism (D65:F11) < 1.0
