Dose: 500MG/10ML inhibits Ca2+ in ux through dihydropyridine-
y
Route: IV IM sensitive, voltage-dependent channels.

Action and rational: Magnesium sulfate works by increasing the levels of magnesium in the
poi
body, which helps to relax muscles and reduce swelling. In the treatment of pre-eclampsia and
eclampsia, magnesium sulfate helps to prevent seizures and lower blood pressure. It also helps to
improve fetal outcomes by increasing blood flow to the placenta.

I
In the treatment of severe asthma, magnesium sulfate acts as a bronchodilator, helping to open
up the airways and improve breathing. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help
to reduce inflammation in the lungs.

 Hexakarbon
fibrin III 2,6 3 I 210 in
- drug class : Antifibrinolytic Agents. 8,21
Generic name : Tranexamic Acid

Trade name : Cyklokapron, hexakabron clot

Dose : 500MG/5ML
A b

Rout: IV

Action and rational : Tranexamic acid competitively and reversibly inhibits the activation of
plasminogen via binding at several distinct sites, including four or five low-affinity sites and one
high-affinity site, the latter of which is involved in its binding to fibrin. The binding of
plasminogen to fibrin induces fibrinolysis - by occupying the necessary binding sites tranexamic
acid prevents this dissolution of fibrin, thereby stabilizing the clot and preventing hemorrhage
MI b messin
Indication : in patients with hemophilia for short-term use (2 to 8 days) to reduce or prevent
hemorrhage and reduce the need for replacement therapy during and following tooth extraction.

Side effect : nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, Lightheadedness , mild itching or rash, and
feeling unusually happy

Contraindication : history of a thromboembolic or ischemic event such as PE, DVT, ischemic

cerebrovascular accident, acute myocardial infarction, or ischemic retinopathy
