1 Why improve your English

First, my native language is Portuguese, so I need to improve my English to be able to
communicate with other.
Second, I must improve to use for purpose of academic, in additional, it will permit to read
books.
Finally, is most important to me because I will get opportunity, success and “provide me
tools I need” (Gordon Taylor, 1989, p. 2).

1.2 Learning to use academic English is important for you?

My opinion, academic English is important because will develop myself in reading,
answering teachers' questions. I will easily “discuss what I think” (Kathy et al., 2013, p.11)
Finishing, academic English will be my passport to study at the Uopeople.
