3SSENTIA WHITEPAPER

INTRODUCTION

The world is at a critical point. Despite advances in technology and overall perceived levels
of progress & wealth, individual & collective wellbeing remains a key challenge representing
a threat for both the survival of the planet and the flourishing of our society. We might be
moving fast and experiencing exponential technological advancement, but are we truly
progressing?

Anxiety, depression and burnout alone among professionals are costing the world economy
over 1.3 trillion a year just in lost productivity. (source: WHO, 2020)

Poor individual wellbeing has inevitable repercussions on collective wellbeing and the way
we operate as a society and treat the world. Poor levels of wellbeing means living in survival
mode & embracing short term thinking leading on one end to destructive behaviours
towards ourselves and others and on the other to unconscious behaviours towards our
planet.

As the way we treat ourselves and those around us is strongly correlated to the way we
treat the planet, higher levels of individual awareness and new operating models are
desperately required if we want to sustain our life on this planet.

Unfortunately, our educational system has failed to teach us how to manage our inner
world and the resources around us more sustainably, a fundamental component for a
balanced, conscious, peaceful and productive society.

With 3SSENTIA, our mission is to use technology to empower professionals to elevate their
daily levels of consciousness & wellbeing to live a more sustainable and meaningful life that
can positively impact the quality of their lives, the people around them and the world as a
whole.

WHY PROFESSIONALS if the problem is global?

Much of the change and pressure the world is experiencing is derived from the corporate
level. For this reason, focusing on improving professionals' daily levels of wellbeing &
consciousness can represent a powerful catalyst for positive change.

As professionals, we spend at least 8 hours of our day working, that’s a big chunk of our
time and thus a great opportunity for intervention. Lastly, when looking at what is currently
on the market, there seems to be an opportunity to better empower professional’s daily
wellbeing as the existing solutions fail to provide the holistic experience needed for
professionals to thrive in their day, drive sustainable behaviour change and expand their
levels of consciousness.

A DEEPER LOOK AT THE PROBLEM

When looking at recent statistics, 70% of professionals admit experiencing burnout

symptoms and 45% of Gen Z & Gen X admitting feeling stressed all or most of the time.
Unsustainable working schedules, high expectations from todays’ fast paced society and
poor self management abilities all contribute to these shocking stats. Studies show that
when people feel stressed or live in fight or flight mode they are more aggressive, less
capable, productive, fulfilled and most importantly less able to think about the greater
good.

A clear example of what we are referring to is by looking at the neuroscience of inclusion.

Poor levels of wellbeing makes us live in the red zone and from that position, not much can
happen. We need to move people to the green zone.

Both self-management & wellbeing are skills that can be developed irrespective of our age,
gender or background making them as a result “scalable”. What they do require is
continuous practice and they are the gateway to the development of higher levels of
sensitivity which is a fundamental component not only to become more balanced, fulfilled
but also awaken higher levels of consciousness that can lead to a more respectful, inclusive
& sustainable “lifestyle”.

As busy professionals, many of us struggle to find effective ways to practice or integrate

wellbeing in our day. For many, there is a general unawareness of how to practice wellbeing
and the impact it can have on their daily levels of happiness and productivity while for
others, being able to integrate it in a daily routine due to perceived time constraints remains
a key challenge. The good news is Euromonitor states the pandemic has shifted home
wellness from early adoption to mass market potential.

When it comes to sustainability, unlike previous recessions, covid has accelerated ethical,
more environmentally-conscious consumption. Based on a global survey from Accenture
60% were reporting making more environmentally friendly, sustainable, or ethical purchases
since the start of the pandemic and 9 out of 10 of that percentage said they were likely to
continue doing so. Research group Kantar said that since Covid-19 sustainability was more
of a concern for consumers than before the outbreak. And 65% of global respondents told a
survey by pollsters Ipsos Mori "that it is important that climate change is prioritised in the
economic recovery after coronavirus". (BBC, 2021)

When looking at what is on offer on the market to support a professional's daily levels of
wellbeing & sustainable living, the experience is fragmented.

On one end of the spectrum, there are productivity tools which are great to facilitate
operational effectiveness but fail to capture mental and emotional states of an individual
which are fundamental components for great productivity.

On the other side of the spectrum, there are great wellbeing apps, the problem is they fail
to integrate and adapt into a professional’s daily workflow thus proving ineffective and
easily “forgettable”. Majority of these providers focus mainly on encouraging hedonic
behaviour (experiences of pleasure and enjoyment), a favourable strategy to easily boost
one's mood however it is shortlisting. Nowonder 92% of Headspace users drop in the first
month ! Although encouraging eudaimonic behaviours (experiences of purpose and
meaning) require more thought and effort from users which increases the chance of
abandonment, when correctly used in combination with hedonic behaviours and triggered
at the right time can be an effective way to preserve a state of fulfillment.

According to Accenture, consumers want more holistic health and wellness solutions that
help the whole person. However, most wellbeing apps do not focus on facilitating conscious
& sustainable “on & off work” behaviours as part of their offering which can represent a
great opportunity to drive positive change and clearly highlight the interdependence
between individual & collective wellbeing.

Lastly, there is indeed a rise in apps that promote sustainable lifestyle choices whether that
is food, travel, or fashion and while they represent positive solutions, the problem is that
they focus mainly on solving the symptom rather that on the true cause (rewiring our inner
narrative and training our “inner sensitivity) which is what we ultimately lead to higher level
of consciousness and sustainability in everything we do.
PRODUCT DESIGN/SOLUTION

In a nutshell, 3SSENTIA is a wellbeing platform powered by an AI coach designed to help

professionals manage and experience their day with more balance, awareness & purpose.
By using 3SSENTIA, our goal is to help professionals:

Level 1) Reduce emotional & energy volatility in their day so they can then...

Level 2) Develop healthier habits for their wellbeing so they can then...

Level 3) Lead a more meaningful & sustainable work-life experience

Combining insights from behavioural science and the neuroscience of productivity &
wellbeing, the mission behind 3SSENTIA is to provide an end to end holistic wellbeing
experience that integrates & adapts to the professional’s daily schedule, ongoing energy
levels & ongoing wellbeing journey to provide a truly personalised, engaging & timely
wellbeing experience.

To achieve that, a special onboarding upon signing up will be needed for the AI coach to
understand “the persona” and start creating learning parameters.

This will include a general understanding of normal working hours, personality type,
interests, working style & personal goals/values (used to trigger eudaimonic behaviours).
Combining this preliminary info with the user’s daily calendar, will allow 3SSENTIA to start
personalising the experience from the get-go without too much input from the user in the
form of recommendations through the right combination of hedonic and eudaimonic hacks,
nudging the user in the flow of their day to achieve sustainable levels of productivity,
wellbeing and sense of fulfillmentAs professionals spend most their working time on
computers, initially the core of the 3SSENTIA experience will be desktop based. To facilitate
usage and have an “ integrated experience” for the user, we envisage building something
like a chrome extension/desktop extension that is always “on'' and quickly accessible for the
user no matter where they are when operating on the laptop.

Every time a user opens a new tab, they have access to their personal dashboard which
comprises personal information such as their calendar( integration with google/microsoft
etc) and other wellbeing information such as their mood & energy levels to give more of a
personalised feel. Later, this could be filled with other meaningful information depending on
the users goals, interests and needs.
Additionally, users will have access to shortcuts always accessible right on the browser to
launch features and get suggestions more effectively.

The main services/features that are currently provided through 3SSENTIA are:

● ENERGY CHECK IN & VIBE

● HACKS
● WISHLISTS
● BREAK MODE
● OFF MODE
● ANALYTICS

HOW WE HELP USERS REACH THEIR DESIRED OUTCOMES

OUTCOME 1) Reduce emotional & energy volatility in their day

3SSENTIA’s interface & AI coach is designed to encourage people to reflect (CHECKIN

FEATURE) on how they are feeling energy wise, in order to strengthen their self-awareness
and based on their state help them take proactive steps through specific interventions to
avoid high energy and emotion volatility as that is a sign of poor self-management that can
lead to procrastination, aggression, anxiety, drops in mood, motivation and low productivity.

A big part of how 3SSENTIA plans its support & recommendations is based around the users;
daily calendar. By understanding their ongoing energy levels through the encouragement of
self- monitoring activity, 3SSENTIA’s AI coach is able to provide more personalised and
timely interventions to improve levels of wellbeing. The more inputs the user puts into the
system to document energy levels, the more accurate the service. If the user does not
manually input his/her energy levels at least once a day, 3SSENTIA’s AI coach can still
operate although not to the same level of accuracy. Generally speaking, the energy check in
feature allows for great personalisation as it acts as a valuable source of information on how
to best connect all features present on 3SSENTIA and help the user make the most of it.

The other 2 ways in which 3SSENTIA helps users reduce energy and emotional volatility is
through:

A)Helping identify the best time for the user to take breaks.

According to the neuroscience of productivity, our brain works best in cycles of 60-90
minutes. Taking breaks regularly can improve productivity by 15% but most importantly
reduce brain fatigue by 50% which is key for decision making. Also higher brain fatigue can
more easily lead to negative emotions as people in that state have less energy for emotional
self regulation.

During these breaks (BREAK MODE FEATURE), the goal is to create a distraction free space
where users can detach from work related activities and receive useful tips and be
encouraged to do behaviours that can generate greater levels of wellbeing and fulfillment.
This includes suggesting activities they could be doing for their personal fulfillment or
wellbeing during or after work (WISHLIST FEATURE) or be recommended short 1-2 minute
wellbeing exercises designed depending on their state to either boost their energy levels,
improve motivation or facilitate emotional self-regulation (HACKS FEATURE).

Users can be nudged by the coach to take a break through a light notification if for example
they have not taken a break in the last 90 minutes (studies show we do our best work in
sprints of 60 to 90 minutes) or if there is an important activity coming up or if one was just
finished. Alternatively, users can manually select break mode from the shortcut and receive
suggestions.

SECOND STAGE: in later phases, we envisage improving the functionality of the “break
mode” as an opportunity to provide interesting content around wellbeing (videos, articles
etc from external providers both as suggestions but also enabling users to save them as a
bookmark in their wishlist to be reminded at a more suitable time), encourage users to
connect with peers to do or schedule wellbeing activities together for peer support(HACKS,
WISHLISTS FEATURE) as well as provide insightful data gathered either from the interaction
with 3SSENTIA( ANALYTICS FEATURE) or from integrations with other products or services
(example smart watches, sleep apps, period apps or other health data to provide interesting
patterns such as success stories or red flags with the goal of encouraging the user to act
differently or recommend intervention).

Moreover, part of the role of the CHECKIN, is to understand users energy patterns and
recommend not only breaks and hacks but also help identify what type of activities users
could be doing that are the best match for their energy levels. When users do not have fixed
activities in their schedule (calls & meetings), the system could help or recommend users
identify what type of activities they could be doing. For example low energy could be a good
opportunity to do easy, repetitive tasks like admin that don’t require much effort. This
“energy management” aspect is particularly useful for professionals to optimise their daily
levels of productivity in a more sustainable and effective way that is aligned to their
biorhythms.

B) Suggesting HACKS:

As mentioned, these are short micro science backed hedonic or eudaimonic wellbeing
exercises (1-2 minute long) to help professionals quickly feel either more balanced, inspired
or energised in their day. Depending on their needs, their energy levels, their personality
type, daily schedule and past data, 3SSENTIA’s AI coach will suggest the most suitable hacks
to complete.

Hacks can be carried out at any time and can be in the form of specific physical exercises,
brain training activities to improve creativity or emotion regulation activities. These hacks
are supported by an avatar AI coach that guides professionals with a strong audio and visual
component. They can be suggested directly by 3SSENTIA’s AI coach as a notification in the
flow of people’s day, integrated directly in the calendar as a suggestion or allow users to
proactively explore what hack to do on the spot by accessing the shortcut on the screen and
go through a filtering process to find most suitable hack. The role of hacks is to act as
“consciousness shocks”, training the user to heighten their level of sensitivity in order to
become more conscious of the way they manage themselves and in turn the impact of their
actions in the outer world. . Over time this will help them improve the relationship they
have with themselves, their activities, other people and the planet.

SECOND STAGE: hacks can represent an innovative way to help users connect with products,
services, activities & behaviours to boost sustainable living & wellbeing. For example, if I do
a hack of 1 minute meditation, at the end of it, the 3SSENTIA coach could nudge me to
watch a video on meditation or explore a course on meditation by connecting me with
external providers. It could also encourage me to maybe do a longer session of meditation
after work as a wellbeing activity (WISHLIST) which I can save as “remind me later” which
will be presented when the user goes OFF MODE.

We are planning on implementing these hacks at a later stage in AR format to make the
activity more immersive, engaging and experiential.

Eventually, we could create a “hack framework” to allow external providers to create their
own hacks as a form of content creation/marketing/revenue opportunity.

OUTCOME 2) Develop healthier habits for their wellbeing

HACKS & BREAKS are a big part of how 3SSENTIA wants to help professionals build better
habits for their wellbeing. Another important aspect we want to focus on is to help
professionals have a healthy morning routine before starting working on their laptop.

By knowing their working hours through the onboarding, every time the user is about to
start their day or opens a new tab, they receive either a notification or access directly on
their tab a morning routine flow to help them get into the right mental/emotional/physical
state before starting the day. This skippable “routine” enables professionals to identify their
energy levels as a morning checkin, pick their vibe which is an attribute/vibe they want to
practice in their day (ex being generous, determined, open etc). Once they pick it, the AI
COACH, depending on their schedule, will send them personalised nudges & inspirational
messages to help them “live” that attribute in their day so they can make sure they put it
into practice in the most effective way.

Part of building healthy habits for our users' wellbeing, is the ability to create clear
boundaries between personal & professional spaces. Based on our research, we found that
most professionals struggle to find these boundaries, hence why we created the OFF MODE
FEATURE. The concept behind this feature is to allow the user once they are finished for the
day to “check out” & enter into a different “space” within their laptop that is catered to
their “off work life”. As soon as people click the off mode, if they want, they can reflect on
how their day went which fuels the AI algorithm to learn and make suggestions for the
future, but if they don’t care to reflect, they are presented with insights of the day in the
form of mini analytics - for example how many breaks or hacks they did today, how their
energy levels were and if there were significant energy trends from the last few days as well
as a selection of possible wishlists they could be doing in their time off. To help create a
different environment and generate anticipation, the system saves all tabs explored during
off mode and presents them to the user only when they enter off mode to give a sense of
personal space between time on & off work without leaving the screen. Here users could
also be receiving notifications from friends such as an invitation to do a wishlist together or
any other information that may be connected to their social/wishlist life but also have
access to websites they want only to access when not working to avoid distraction. When in
on mode, these websites are not browsable.

Always related to the off mode feature, as during onboarding we identify users normal
working hours, the AI coach nudges them in case they are working overtime to promote a
healthy work-life balance and avoid overworking by either suggesting some activities they
could be doing as an alternative (WISHLISTS) or simply make them aware that they are
overworking and that it might have an impact on their wellbeing (especially if their last
check in was low energy or there was a significant dip.

Lastly, the role of our AI coach is to provide useful information in the form of conversational
analytics that can help people develop greater self awareness and empower them to make
conscious decisions to achieve more sustainable levels of productivity, wellbeing and a
sense of fulfillment.

Analytics do the job of informing users about their energy levels and if there have been any
significant fluctuations, how much effort they are putting in preserving their wellbeing such
as making sure they take enough breaks and do enough hacks, what time on average they
go off mode and how they are doing at achieve a meaningful and sustainable work-life
balance by completing their WISHLISTS. But part of the analytics is also to help people reach
their goals and inspire them to set new ones as they“evolve” in their journey.
Analytics should have a conversational aspect where users are not only presented with
static charts but also through insights that spur direct action whether that is in the analytics
section or as notifications or insights during the user's daily work flow. For example, if I do a
check in the afternoon and the system notices that energy levels have had a continuous dip
in the last 3 days, the AI COACH will make me aware by helping me consider what I should
be doing to prevent me from going into a danger zone but also give me insights on what
may have cause this: frequently worked overtime, if I did less breaks or hacks, the kind of
schedule I had.The idea is to always leave users with a CTA they can act on, for example,
help me do more breaks or hacks if the number was low or make sure I check out earlier
today so the system can optimize for that. The purpose of the analytics is to have a
continuous “human in the loop” approach with tight feedback loops where the algorithms
get directed by users reflection when possible to increase self-awareness and most
importantly self-mastery for the ultimate human-machine collaboration.

SECOND STAGE: as the goal is to integrate with other devices to generate behavioural or
wellbeing data (ex sleeping patterns, food etc) the idea is to try to connect the dots between
all these datasets to provide a more personalised and insightful level of analytics

OUTCOME 3) Have a more meaningful & sustainable work-life balance

At the heart of helping people have a more sustainable & meaningful work-life balance is
the WISHLIST FEATURE.

This feature is designed to help people identify and complete meaningful activities for their
wellbeing and personal fulfillment.

3SSENTIA’s approach is to divide wishlists into 6 main areas of life: community, friends &
family, learning, spirituality, health & wellbeing, hobbies & craft.

The goal is to help users reach a balance between all these areas for greater levels of
wellbeing, personal development & fulfillment.

By enabling users to filter through each area, 3SSENTIA’s AI coach recommends activities
they could be doing. The intelligence of the suggestion relies in aligning their current energy
levels and schedule to the right activities for maximum chances of completion. For example,
if it's 6pm and my energy is very low and I want to do something for my health and
wellbeing, 3SSENTIA will not recommend running as an activity.

The way users interact with the WISHLIST FEATURE is very flexible. They can proactively
explore their wishlists through the shortcut as a way to get inspired to do something on the
spot, by saving them as favourites so 3SSENTIA’s coach can help them find a suitable time
to do them at the most optimum time, or by manually adding them to their calendar. If
users want to be more intentional, they go into the habit mode where they can set goals on
how many times a week they want to do a particular wishlist and the goal of the 3SSENTIA
coach is to help them find the right time in their schedule to complete them. To make the
experience more social & immersive, users can share their wishlists with friends or
bookmark any particular link related to a wishlist (ex I want to cook a healthy meal 2 a week
and I find an interesting recipe that I want to save in my wishlist).

The role of the 3SSENTIA coach is to proactively suggest wishlists they could be doing in
their day during or after work depending on their availability, goals/values and current
energy levels. Part of the service is to provide users analytics where they can see where they
are allocating most of their effort, allowing them to choose a specific area of focus on as an
intentionality setting which will spur the AI coach to take care of “optmising” the timing and
mode of suggestions to ensure users reach their goal in the most effective and meaningful
way.

SECOND STAGE: Our vision with the wishlist feature is 2 fold. On one end, connecting with
external product & service “wellbeing providers” that align to the users goals and values. On
a second note, all providers that sign up to 3SSENTIA must be sustainable or ethically
sourced as our vision is to become the leading socially conscious wellbeing platform that
connects people with products & services that promote sustainable living. This means that if
I am into cooking, I would want to be connected with a cooking class where the ingredients
are sustainable sourced (ex vegan food or low carbon emission). This way, we envision
driving sustainable behaviour change by creating a closer connection between what people
want for their wellbeing & encouraging conscious production from the provider side.

ABOUT THE ROLE OF INTERCONNECTEDNESS

All features have been designed in a modular fashion to ensure the user can freely interact
with each feature without depending on others. Of course, in the backend, the story is quite
different as the interdependence between all these aspects is what makes 3SSENTIA
powerful and able to provide a holistic experience that drives profound change. The goal is
to get a deeper understanding of the correlation between users' subjective data and
behavioural data in order to empower the AI coach to make better predictions and
understand the best time for intervention, nudging/ suggestion for higher levels of
wellbeing & sustainable living. Notifications in the form of nudging is a big part of the
3SSENTIA experience as users often forget to look after their wellbeing or allow their
emotions to take the best of them so the role of the AI coach is to predict and prevent by
always empowering the user to make a conscious and educated choice. With this in mind,
there should be a possibility for users to have a “notification management settings” where
they can choose how proactive they want their coach to be in suggesting and nudging when
it comes to all the services/features available on 3SSENTIA.
ABOUT GATHERING DATA PASSIVELY

One of the most important aspects to provide accurate wellbeing support is to have an
understanding of people’s current mental & emotional state. At present, this means the
user has to manually input their energy levels throughout the day. The goal is to explore
ways in which we could gather data passively whether that is through wearables or some
sort of sentiment analysis whether that is something like the app Grammarly does or using
other sensors. For example, when it comes to wellbeing and general levels of awareness in
what we do, the frequency and awareness of our breath has been demonstrated to be a
powerful indicator of how “present we are” and thus able to regulate ourselves and make
more conscious decisions. It would be interesting to explore the possibility of finding a way
to monitor breath frequency to give the user more accurate feedback.

Moreover, to have a more complete dataset, it would be great if we could find a way to
enable people to enter any other type of behavioural or health data that could support our
AI coach whether that is their email, social media channels, health score etc.

3SSENTIA will also have a mobile app version that can have the basic features like hacks,
wishes, notifications and dashboard view with the possibility of taking other data either
from sensors, or other external aspects that can impact in recommendation such as
temperature, weather, location, moon cycles to take all those parameters in consideration.

CONNECTING WITH PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

We see 3SSENTIA as an empty box, a filtering system that wants to connect people with
“the outer world” based on their “inner world”. We call it The google of inner search.

We see 2 main ways to connect users with external providers:

A)Through experience API, the goal is to connect with wellbeing or productivity apps/tech
that can enhance the experience whether that is a to do list, music, meditation, period
tracking, Alexa and other IOT to create a data rich and multisensory wellbeing experience.
With this approach, the goal is to “optimize” the timing of connection with these existing
products and services to maximise engagement and “value of use” in a meaningful and user
centric way. At present, our main point of reference when it comes to predicting time of
intervention is by connecting through a calendar. While this is a good approach, from our
research a lot of users don’t put much info other than calls and meetings so people with
little info on their calendar might not get as many timely recommendations. More
alternatives need to be explored to gain a deeper understanding of users daily
activities/workflow to avoid having a single point of failure.

B) as discussed, the wishlist connects with external wellbeing experience providers that are
aligned to 3ssentia’s values of sustainable living linked to the 6 areas of life. The way in
which the AI Coach would “serve” these providers is to facilitate a better match &
engagement of their services based on the user’s personality type, daily schedule, current
state etc. For example, if I am an online course provider, my students would be able to
upload their course as a whishlist and the AI coach will take care of finding the optimum
time to complete the course for greater engagement.

TALK ABOUT CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE

Last but not least, we see 3SSENTIA as a social experience. The goal of the AI coach should
be to encourage people to share and support each other in their wellbeing journey, whether
that is encouraging people to do hacks or wishlists together. Based on the personality type,
current emotional state, schedule availability and past data, the coach should understand
when people are more open and more likely to connect and support each other as this will
make the experience more meaningful and engaging. The idea initially is for people to be
able to invite their network and match their calendars for synchronized suggestions and the
possibility of accessing/generating “collective analytics” to act as a motivating factor to
contribute to the community and inspire collective wellbeing. Later on, it would be great to
have the possibility to connect people with “ like minded strangers” based on their interest,
personality type and availability whether that is locally or internationally with the purpose
of networking and doing activities together as a way to get to know more people.

BUSINESS CASE & LONG TERM VISION

Based on our research and previous experience with the first release, we have seen that
3SSENTIA can be perceived as a valuable solution either for end consumers(mainly
freelancers and entrepreneurs), companies, universities and potentially governments.

1) Freelancers & entrepreneurs who value their wellbeing could be our early adopters.
From our research, we found they would tend to be aged between 25 and 40 with a
particular interest from woman. Freelancers and solopreneurs are the fast growing
market in Europe and the reason why we would target them is because they are
“decision makers' ' and would see 3SSENTIA as an asset to help them perform better
as “they are the business”. We would need to understand their willingness to pay
and how many can be converted from free to paid and analyse our unit economics.
For this market, we envisage having 2 possible revenue options. Either freemium where the
3SSENTIA is free to access but does not have smart AI coach full functionality or applies a
limitation in terms of number of hacks, wishlist recommendation and API integrations.

The second approach could be donation based where users in order to access all of
3SSENTIA features, need to donate a minimum amount per month. This may sound
audacious, but it could be a powerful way to build trust, gain better feedback on the value
we are creating and lastly contribute towards the vision of intending a new form of value
proposition where the message is “we win only when you win” which is the ultimate goal of
3SSENTIA.

2) Companies

Companies are increasingly investing in their people’s wellbeing, especially after the
pandemic. While they represent a more secure revenue model as they would definitely pay
for such service in the form of a monthly subscription per employee and found that our
solution works particularly well in a home office environment which is a big trend that will
stay. The challenge is selling through HR. We have been trying to propose 3SSENTIA (the
previous version) to HR and while they were interested, it was challenging to convert. The
main issue is that HR are not decision makers and often have poor influence abilities. The
alternative would be to approach sales directors or line managers for their team and see if
that bottom up approach could be more powerful as in that case it could drive more
engagement.

The other issue with companies is security and trust from employees. As our product is
quite data sensitive, employees might feel they are being spied on which will limit the value
that 3SSENTIA can provide. Secondly, as the product requires some integrations, it might
stop companies from buying into 3SSENTIA both for security concerns as well as
complexity/cost of integration.

The other alternative would be to sell 3SSENTIA directly to insurance companies who deal
with corporates’s wellbeing which would enable us to bypass the whole HR sales process.

We definitely feel companies represent a big financial opportunity, we just need to

understand the best way to go about it as sometimes sales cycles can be long and what we
need the most at the beginning is to have continuous feedback on the product to improve it.

3) Universities
They can represent an interesting case. Mental health is becoming ever more dominant of a
subject among educational institutions and with the new hybrid study model that does not
require students to be in class all the time or located where the UNI is, 3SSENTIA could be a
valuable solution. We have run a pilot with a university who showed interest and have
spoken to 2 other UNIs about 3SSENTIA. Generally speaking, it felt UNIs were much more
open to try 3SSENTIA than companies. This could be a good way for us to gain critical mass
as users.

The challenge comes from the financial aspect as UNIs are notoriously slow at taking
decisions and paying for external services. The best bet would be to target private UNIs as
they tend to be more open. Finally, universities could be great partners for research
purposes to improve and expand the value of 3SSENTIA (research will be a big pillar of
3SSENTIA) and credibility to attract companies.

4) Governments

This avenue has not fully been explored but it could be an interesting path to take,
especially if we focus on the sustainability behaviour change as governments are
increasingly investing and requiring organisations to have a “sustainable mindset & bottom
line approach”.
