Cancels and replaces Technical Information No. 56 and addenda -1-.

Relates to the compatibility of spare parts for the CA 1:1 and CA 10:1, L and non-L (light)
versions.

Purpose
Explain the actual current situation in terms of compatibility of the rotors, complete heads and
tail of heads for the different contra-angle handpiece versions.
Make the repair agent aware that this major development offers the practitioner significant
advantages, such as a new quieter and more reliable head.

Which exploded drawing should be followed after the update to the

contra-angle head?
For the handle Unchanged. Continue to use the exploded drawing version
bearing the SN which corresponds to the handle, or the
closest previous SN date.
For example: your contra-angle handpiece gives REF
1600424 and SN 06Exxxx on the handle. (2006 E = May).
Please refer to exploded drawing 1600424-181-0010 which is
valid from 06C 0001 (C = March), which is the closest
previous document.

New complete head 1501088-001
And new set 1501327-001
The Kit is engraved with 1501087 and SNxxxx on the tail of
head.
The spare tail of head part shows 1501083 and SNxx.
In this case, please refer to the exploded drawing version
which bears the corresponding SN date, or the closest
previous document. In the future, please refer to the
update of this exploded drawing.

New mixed assemblies Old handle and new rotor.

For each instrument read the REF and SN engraved on the
handle and the head shank.

For this head, always fit the

rotor 1501085 and tail of head 1501083 together,
which form the set 1501327-001.

REF 1302345 Then the compatibility will return to normal

and you can replace these part by part. Set.

From these SNs, the compatibility will return to normal

and you can replace these part by part.
