ITACA DOESN’T START THE ACQUISITIONS AND THE DATA The acquisition hardware is not detected
ACQUISITION INTERFACE IS RED
1. Open the cabinet and see if the light (green or orange) in
the hardware national is on;
2. If it is on:
• Try to restart ITACA;
• Try to disconnect and reconnect the ethernet cable;
• Try to restart the computer;
3. If it is off:
• Check the power supply and in case change the cable;
• Check the ethernet port;
• Contact ProService in order to change the spare parts
and recreate the license.
WINDOWS DOESN’T START 1. Check if some external device (like USB or Hard disk are
connected to the PC) are conected to the PC;
2. Try to disconnect all the external devices like the
keyboard and restart the computer;
3. The problem can be related to the Hard disk damaged;

connections.
ITACA IS NOT ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE DISPLAYS 1. Check the ITACA sub network connections;
2. The network that allow the communication with the
displays is the ITACA sub-network (10.0.0.x). Check that
all the communication is working;
ITACA SHOW AN ERROR OF DATABASE NOT ACTIVE 1. Check the access to the sql server where ITACA database
is located;
2. Check from the Task Manager Services if the the Sql
Server is Active;
