I believe the New Mexico new energy policy is a great idea. This is because almost half

of the country will be able to use the power coming from renewable sources in the years to come.

Being a country that largely depends on electricity from fossil fuels, the idea of tapping power

from renewable resources will be beneficial. A critical benefit of using renewable sources is that

a couple of air pollutants that are harmful to public health and the environment will be

eliminated. Also, many people who had lost their jobs will be trained and acquire jobs again. The

idea is very much feasible because the state leaders have already accepted the bill. With support

from national leaders, the bill will take effect very fast. However, just like any other project,

there will be some unexpected externalities. The best thing to do is to have strategies in place to

fix the negative externalities if they arise.

Since we all desire a carbon-free world, I think all other countries should embrace the

same template. There will be a massive global warming reduction if nations embrace the same.

It is true that in different parts of the world, people have been making efforts to stop or reduce

the use of fossil fuels. It is good that people are conscious of the negative impacts that come

with fossil fuels. It is high time that we all join hands and do more and make our environment

better. Our governments should create awareness of renewable resources and encourage different

parties on the same.

One way that I have been energy conscious is; I have used sun rays to dry some fruits to acquire

fiber and micronutrients.
