Greetings of peace and blessings!

The presence of COVID-19 presented huge challenges and learning curves for all forms of
education. This pandemic brought a huge effect in mental health of the people specifically
teenagers.

At present, the pandemic seems to have ended, at least for the moment, and as life returns to
normal little by little, attention needs to be paid to the transition back to face-to-face education
and its implications.

To sustain and attain quality education amidst these trying times, Department of Education
(DepEd) have urged the so-called Learning Recovery Program (LRP), however, it is also imperative
for the schools to instill the importance of holistic health through various wholesome extra-
curricular activities.

Supreme Student Government (SSG) is the foremost co-curricular student organization

authorized to operate and implement pertinent programs, projects and activities in schools
nationwide. As SSG Officers, it is imperative for us to answer the call of the students to conduct
wholesome activities. and engage them in a positive alternative endeavor in the company of their
friends.
In lieu of this, we, the Supreme Student Government of Natatas NHS is requesting your
permission to conduct a JS Promenade for Grades 9 and 10 students, and a Batch Night for
Grade 7 and 8 students. These activities can boost a student’s confidence and help diminish any
anxious feelings caused by possible academic demands. It will also serve as an avenue to
transform and develop the students to be the catalyst within his peer group in promoting a
healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
Rest assured that all the safety and security measures will be undertaken in the conduct of the
said activities.
