ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
I. INTRODUCTION
The Sto. Tomas South Central School envisioned to be the center of

excellence in the whole district of Sto. Tomas South possibly crafted by the schvool
head, teachers and other stakeholders with inspired intuitions, dedication and
commitment who are endowed to produce God-loving, responsible, resourceful and
competitive pupils. It is therefore our mission and task to protect and promote the
rights of our students as we mold them to be totally motivated, well-rounded person
and develop their potentials to the fullest.
In line with our mission and vision, guided with measure, programs and
projects set by the district, the school is presenting this report which states a concrete
proof of achievement accomplished this calendar year 2019.

Innovations now a days are inevitable and as the saying goes that the only thing that
is constant in this world is changes. Thus, there is no arguing that technology plays a vital role
in our lives. So, it is no surprise that technology has a major impact on education.
Modesty aside our school Sto Tomas South Central School has come up with varieties
of innovations that really made a difference in the improvement of teaching and learning
process of our students as well as the other schools.
Such innovations are, E-Games wherein E-games are incorporated into regular lessons
for the children to become more enthusiastic in learning mathematics based on their interest
and learning styles. Since they are enjoying the weekly activities at different level of e-games
prepared by the teachers, love for math is likewise developed.
SMART (Love to Read and Be a Reader) is one of the innovations that really
improved love for reading of our dear pupils. SMART goals set them up for success by making
goals specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. The SMART method helps them
to push further and gives them a sense of direction
It starts with a recognition amongst all educators that the world is changing. To prepare
people for the future, you need to design an education system that is forward-looking and not
backward-looking.
Sir Wilfredo Toledo, a teacher of San Pedro National High together with her two
colleagues had the chance to come over at our school for the internal benchmarking wherein
they compare performance, processes, and practices of their schools against our school, they
also had a chance to check the innovations we have such as SMART under which is the Love
to Read and Be a Reader. They had mentioned that this kind of innovation is timely and would
help those struggling readers.
Resourcefulness and willingness to adapt to any change are the characteristics that a teacher
should possess for the benefit of the students’ improvement in learning not just Mathematics
and English but in all learning areas.
Indeed, continuous use of the E-games and SMART lessened failing and struggling
learners and is of great help to develop their innate skills in language and numbers. This
wouldn’t be possible without the help of our school principal Mrs. Angelita D. Razon for her
untiring support in making this project possible.
