How to have screen recording

using MS Power Point

Note: This tutorial is for MS Office 2013 and onward/MS Office 365)
Why Screen Recording ?
Usually in Power Point we can include the following things in our
presentation
• Text
• Images
• Graphs/Charts
• Audio
• Video
But some time we need to include other things in our presentation like
use of relevant software or want to show the registration process etc.
Steps are given below
• Start the Power Point (Create New file or open already made
presentation file).
• Go to Insert
 Press

Control panel at the middle top of computer screen.

By pressing the record button. After three seconds countdown what
else I see on computer screen that will be recorded along with
narration.

maximized.

“Save Media
as”
Once we get the video file saved at particular
destination then we can close the MS Power Point
with or without saving changes.
File format and its size.
• Our screen recorded media file will be in mp4 format with
approx. size 25 MB per Minute.
• Probably we can not afford such bulky size for long file.
• Need to compress this file using H 264 encoding.
• So for that we can use “Handbrake” software which is
totally free and full version.

customization.
 How to Use Handbrake Software
1. After downloading &
installation, open the
Handbrake software.
2. Drag the file into
Handbrake software window
or can through Open file
option.
