on your future career as a law enforcer."

Basically, as future law enforcers, we need to understand first how and what are the
function of the organization and administration that we are about to enter.

This subject taught us a lot of things about the law enforcement organization and administration,
there are a lot of things we learn from it one of this are the laws that created different
organizations like the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and
Penology (BJMP), and Philippine National Police (PNP). These bureaus were under the Republic
Act 6975 or the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) act of 1990 which took
effect on January 1, 1991. The Republic Act No. 8551, otherwise known as the Philippine
National Police (PNP) Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998 amened some provisions on R.A
6975 were also tackled in this lesson. This subject also taught us some of the terminologies that
are used in the organization. There are a lot of things and new knowledge that we acquire
through studying this subject, it also gives us a brief discussion on the historical background of
some organization that we might join someday. The primary essence of this subject for me is for
us to have some idea of what kind of organization we are about to take up, it is also a kind of
preparation for us to have an understanding about some of the aspects in the organization liker
the promotion, retirement. It also taught us some of the things that we need to avoid because
there are a lot of consequences like a demotion, suspension, and dismissal. Becoming a law
enforcer doesn’t even mean that we are above the law and we can commit crimes instead, we
need to become a role model for our society by accepting or acting in accordance with the rules
and regulations of our own organization or to the different laws that we are instructed to enforce.
This subject eventually will serve as one of our foundations in our future choice of profession
that’s why encountering this subject as a student is a must and we will take this knowledge that
we acquire and apply it in our life until we become a law enforcer and join this different kind of
organization and administration to serve and protect our country.
