days a week for the eldest child, going on walks around the neighborhood, and outside/indoor play.
Worked with the youngest child to eat more of a variety of foods and to eat more vegetables. The

schedule for the next school year.

Mesecher Family Harrisburg, PA; August 2016- November 2017

Full-time nanny, age of children upon hire: 2 years and 6 months old

Full-time care for an energetic 2-year-old and a 6-month-old ready to be on the move. Responsible for
(sometimes) waking children up and getting them ready for the day, feeding them meals and snacks (that
we’d sometimes make together), going for walks around the neighborhood, outside/indoor play, keeping
the napping schedule for the eldest child and getting the youngest on a napping schedule. The youngest
didn’t stick to a napping schedule so when she was awake, we would read books as quiet time. I worked
with the eldest to be on an independent morning routine (waking up, getting what she’d like to wear &
putting it on, using the restroom, and then brushing her teeth), I also worked with her on potty training.
The children’s mother worked from home and didn’t mind when I’d do homework during downtime,
when the eldest had started growing out of a morning nap she would sit with me and I’d teach her to
write (I would create big sheets of dotted alphabet letters or her name she’d go over and then would
write on her own). The position ended because the family moved to Virginia.
