Reflection, Scenario 3;

As the teacher in this scenario, I think the bigger and most important challenge will be getting Ashley adjusted to the classroom. The adjustments I will make to
the classroom and way that I will prepare the children to be kind and help when they can will depend on the severity of Ashley’s condition. I will want my
students to remember that everyone is different and sometimes people need more and different help than others and that we are kind to one another. It is my
job to make sure that Ashley is proceeding in all areas of her development, that I make changes necessary to help her, that I am going at a pace that is
comfortable and successful for her, that the classroom brings positive experiences to her life and development, that the classroom is an environment in which
she can be involved in (such as in play), and that she keeps or gains the motivation to learn. I think Quan would be a bit less challenging to get acclimated into
the classroom because his parents have offered help, I could ask them to come in for a certain amount of time when Quan first arrives to help him get adjusted
to a new environment. After talking with his parents, I will know some of his interests better and can prepare those stations for his arrival (if he likes cars I can
keep a spot open in the cars play station so that it is already something he is comfortable with.
