FBM1 NARRATIVE REPORT

( March 6, 2023)
INTRODUCTION:
Farm management, making and implementing of the decisions involved in organizing
and operating a farm for maximum production and profit. Farm management draws
on agricultural economics for information on prices, markets, agricultural policy, and
economic institutions such as leasing and credit. It also draws on plant and animal
sciences for information on soils, seed, and fertilizer, on control of weeds, insects, and
disease, and on rations and breeding; on agricultural engineering for information on
farm buildings, machinery, irrigation, crop drying, drainage, and erosion control
systems; and on psychology and sociology for information on human behavior. In
making his decisions, a farm manager thus integrates information from the biological,
physical, and social sciences.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE ACTIVITY:

1. Agriculture Booths - a stall, compartment, or light structure for the sale of goods or
for display purposes, as at a market, exhibition, or fair.
2. Food Products - Commercially grown or manufactured products made to eat, for
human consumption. So, they are made for commercial purposes. This category is
about any food that is reasonably saleable or normally able to be marketed
3.Food Innovation - Food innovation is the development and commodification of new
food products, processes, and services. Right now, it’s happening rapidly.
4. Market Strategies - A marketing strategy refers to a business’s overall game plan
for reaching prospective consumers and turning them into customers of their products
or services.
EVALUATION OF THE EXPERIENCE:
- Our first day of sales on February 20, 2023, in the morning we were not able to sell
immediately because we did not prepare what we were going to sell in advance, so we
started selling at noon and there were many people passing by our booth, so we sped
up the preparation of foods so that we could sell immediately because it was a waste of
time, that day we had a misunderstanding with our group but we put the problem aside
first so that we could focus on selling after that we were happy to finish on the 1st day of
our sale because everything was sold out.
- On our second day of selling, the same thing happened, we always ran out of food,
sometimes other customers complained why we always ran out of food, then at that
time I had activities that were part of the university week, but I also always gave time to
help even though I am very busy sometimes, I always visit them to help.
- On the third day of our sale, we were not able to immediately buy the products we
were going to cook because we were too busy and also that day while crimson was
assigned to buy the things we were going to cook, he said he lost money in the market
more than 200 pesos plus so that's a bit that we lacked what we were going to cook but
we didn't give up, we still sold even if we only sold a little because it was a waste of time
that we allocated so after we sold food we always ran out of food so we kind of made up
for the money we lost.
- On the last day of selling food at the booth, more and more people were looking for
our food, so with so many people around us, sometimes we were confused as to who
should go first and also at that time we had a bit of a conflict with other groups because
they were disturbing the booth. even though they knew that we were too busy cooking,
they still managed to disturb us, so I was a bit angry with them at that time, but I still
understood them because they were my friends, but they always annoyed us and that
made me a bit over my limit. that I spoke bad to them because they didn't want to listen
to what I was telling them but even so, we discussed it properly without causing any
problems.
CONCLUSION:
-. All I can say is that even though there was an argument, we were able to talk well
even though it was a short-term experience, we learned a lot and each of us was happy.
I am very grateful to you Ma'am Llano for always being there to teach us right she
always guide us to all the things we did in university week.
