LAW ABIDING CITIZEN

The movie "Law Abiding Citizen" is a riveting and thought-provoking thriller that
left a lasting impact on me. The film tackles the themes of justice, revenge, and
morality, and it does so in a way that forces the audience to confront their own beliefs
about these topics.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the movie was the way it explored the
shortcomings of the justice system. The fact that the culprits responsible for the murder
of Clyde Shelton's family were able to plea bargain and receive reduced sentences was
frustrating to watch. It was disheartening to see how easily the justice system could be
manipulated, and it made me question whether the system truly serves justice.
The movie also raises questions about the morality of vigilantism. While it is
understandable why Clyde Shelton would want to seek revenge, his methods were
extreme and ruthless. The fact that he was willing to go to such lengths made me
wonder if there was a line that should not be crossed when seeking justice.
Another aspect of the film that stood out to me was the performances of the
actors. Gerard Butler, who played Clyde Shelton, gave a remarkable performance that
was both chilling and captivating. Jamie Foxx, who played the district attorney, also
gave a powerful performance that conveyed the character's internal conflict.
In conclusion, "Law Abiding Citizen" is a film that challenges the audience to
think deeply about complex issues of justice and morality. It is a movie that stays with
you long after the credits have rolled. While the themes it explores may not be easy to
confront, they are important topics that need to be discussed. I highly recommend this
movie to anyone who is interested in exploring these issues and being captivated by
well-crafted thriller.
