DOES THE ENVIRONMENT HAVE INTRINSIC MORAL

VALUE? WHY, OR WHY NOT?

1.0Introduction
In this, the question is whether the environment has the intrinsic form of the moral-
based value chosen for the topic to discuss in the overall paper. Many people argue
that the environment has an intrinsic form of value that value within, or itself that
can depend upon the interest of humans or the benefits it can bring. Other people
have argued on this that the environment that has got the value of instrumental
based that can be said that it has got the value comprised of the human benefits or
that can be served the interest of humans. To elaborate on this, some people have
argued against the intrinsic value of the environment that can be claimed that the
value of morality is a construct of the human-based and that the environment has
got a value that is human-constructed of, that the environment that has got the
value as for the benefit of humans. This paper will explore the arguments vividly
and will determine that the environment has an intrinsic form of moral value.
2.0 Discussion
The question lies in fact whether the environment has got the intrinsic form of the
moral value that has been presented in terms of the intensive form of the debate in
terms of the field towards the ethics of the environment. Some thinkers said that
the environment has got an intrinsic form of value that is prescribed that has got
the instrumental form of the value that is served the interest of the human. This
essay will be examining the intrinsic form of the value from both sides that can be
debated as well as it can be argued that the environment has got the intrinsic form
of moral-based value. These questions will lie on whether the environment has got
an intrinsic form of value as a continuous form. However, this will be answering
the questions that have reflected as an important form of the implication that how it
can be approachable in regards to the issues of the environment as to prioritize the
protection of the natural-based resources.
2.1 About Intrinsic Value
It is usually said to be something that has got the value of in and itself, that can be
independent towards any form of the interest of the humans or the uses it can be. It
is simple because it can exist. As an example, it can be said that it can be believed
by some people that the intrinsic form of the value is much more valuable but it
simply exists, despite any type of considerations.
Adherents from the view of the environment that has got the intrinsic form of the
moral-based value that can be argued as the nature that is much more inherent and
valuable in and itself. These thinkers have argued that nature has got value in terms
of the independence of any form of interest of the human or its uses. The
environment has been seen as comprising its form of uniqueness, like the beauty,
diversity, the complexity can be made much more valuable. It can be said that the
environment that has not got the intrinsic form of values of moral, as these values
that will be subjected to goals and preferences.

The main value towards the intrinsic form of value regards the environment that is
argument is the viewpoint from the intrinsic morality. This type of argument that
will be holding the nature that is said to be good and itself only, that’s why it will
be regarded as the intrinsic form of the value. This argument can be from the point
of the intrinsic morality that can be maintaining the natural form of the system that
is much more precious because it is considered to be the bigger form of the system
that is said to be much more valuable. As an example, it can be said that the
ecosystem that has got value is not because of the individual form of the
components that can make up, and also it can be said that the interaction as well as
the relationships of those two components.

Another form of argument that can be said is for the intrinsic form of the value
regarding the environment that is from the moral form of the standing. This
argument will be holding the moral form of the standing and that can be said that it
will be entitled towards the consideration of the moral, which means it is leaning
towards the moral form of the considerations. As per this argument, it can be said
that it has got the rights and the interest in nature that can be earned to be protected
and also respected as human beings do. This point of view will be supported by the
aim that all living beings have the essential form of worth that can be treated in
well versified manner.
From the viewpoints of the opponents, it can be said that the environment has got
the intrinsic form of the moral-based value that has been argued that nature is
much of value as it serves the interest of the human. This point of view will be said
to be a ‘Human Supremacism’, as it is taking place in terms of the human form of
the interest at the center of the environment in terms of the process of decision-
making. It mainly upholds that the environment that is considered the pivotal form
of an extent that will be providing the services along with the resources that mainly
benefitted to humans usually.

The argument towards human supremacism is an argument from the point of
intrinsic based value. This form of argument will be much more precious in and
itself as it provides benefits to human beings. As an example, it can be said that the
trees are much more valuable as they provide flowers, fruits, or vegetables that
fulfill the needs of humans. This argument will be about maintaining the protocols
of the environment that is much not valuable in themselves, but on the other hand,
it will bed providing benefits to humans.
2.5 Argument 4
From the point of human supremacism, it is an argument that it is an efficient form
of economy. This type of argument will be holding back the environmental
protection that can be based on the consideration of the economy, like the analysis
that is of the cost benefits. As per the argument, it can be said that the protection of
the environment is valuable, as it will be providing benefits of protection that are
toward outweigh the cost. From this point of view, it can be understood that the
value of the environment, that is depended upon the use of human beings.
2.6 Argument 5
It can be argued that the environment is a much more valuable form of the
independence from the perspective of the interest of humans. It can be seen
sometimes that humans are often viewed as the environment that is the form of the
resources that can be used in terms of the personal form of pleasure. However, it
can be said that the environment fails to be considered to be as the inherent form of
worth. The complexity, beauty, as well as diversity, can earn much more respect
and also protection than is regardless towards humans. An environment that will be
providing the basic form of essential things like food, air, and water as a stay must
survive of well-being. It can be stated that it will be supporting the complex form
of the web life on the Earth that will be comprised of the species and also the other
form of aspects. It can be claimed that the environment can protect itself from it,
the same way as the obligation of the moral that usually saves the lives of the
people.

It can be augmented based on the environment that has comprised of the moral-
based value as it is said to be the necessary elements that can thrive the life of the
Earth that will be included with the humans.
Argument Takeover
Having this argument, we can be said that the environment carries out some of the
intrinsic forms of a moral form of values. First, I want to agree on this, from the
intrinsic point of value that nature is good and it is itself and that’s why the reason
it has got the intrinsic form of values. The natural form of the entities can be much
more precious not for the reason for their use by human beings, but also the reason
because of the reason why it has got some of the qualities that are inherent types
like complexity and beauty.
Moreover, I also believed that the argument is from the viewpoint of the moral-
based outstanding. It is said that if we can accept all forms of living beings that are
inherent forms and can be deserved to be treated with well-diversified dignity as
well as with the respect, however, it will be following the environment that will be
having the moral form of standing out from it and also that can be protected from
the future. As it can be said that the environment has got a moral-based value
because of the reason it is shared by the resources that is belonging to all forms of
living beings especially. As it can be said that human property as to use as well as
exploited in terms of seeing it fit. However, it can be said that the generations of
the future based that has a stake in the environment and also has got the right to
take over the thriving form of the planet.
3.0 Conclusion
In this paper, the question that lies upon it is whether the environment has got the
intrinsic form of moral-based value that is said to be one of the controversial topics
and the complex form of issues as per the ethics of the environment. Moreover, it
has been argued that the environment has got value of inherent as this is said to be
the pivotal aspect and can provide benefits to all forms of living beings. It can be
said that taking all the considerations from the perspective of the philosophical
way on the issue, can end the environment does not have the intrinsic form of
moral value. As because it can be said that possessing environmental
characteristics and qualities can make the value the inherent value and the
deservation of the consideration of the moral that initially includes diversity,
beautiness, and also the complexity. Moreover, it can be said that the environment
is not a purely based form of resources that can be utilized for the gain of humans,
but it is a complex form that’s why it is a worthy form of protection and respect.
Therefore, it can be said that the obligation of the moral is used to be for the
recognition and upholding of the intrinsic form of the value of the environment and
by making the work as to be sustainable form and making a relationship with it.
Recognizing the environmental value is permissively said to be the right way that
can be expected that will save the generation for the future.
