5. This seems to be as per the Judgment of

Hon’ble Apex Court in case of Prem Nath
Bali Vs. Reg., High Court of Delhi & Anr.
decided on 16 December, 2015 in Civil Appeal
No. 958 of 2010. However, as per decision in
the recent Larger Bench Judgment of Hon’ble
Apex Court in the case of State of M.P. and
others Vs. Akhilesh Zha and others, 2022 (1)
Mh.L.J.,557, the period of minimum 9 months is
to be given to complete the departmental
inquiry.
6. In view of Judgment of Hon’ble Apex

Court in the case of State of M.P. and others
Vs. Akhilesh Zha (cited supra), the respondents
are directed to complete the departmental
inquiry of applicant within 9 months from the
date of this order.
7. In view of above direction, the O.A. is

disposed off. No order as to costs.
