LESSON 6

Independent Learning
I grow up with great awareness about my environment, when I move across streets to
marketplaces or to my place of worship, what I see at times bothers me and at times I feel
the empathy to do anything to help to show that I care. Becoming a healthcare worker,
learning from an educational point of view has been an inspiration for me.
I can relate more with people’s health struggles based on their diversity and at the same
time know my strength and strategies that can enable me to give care. to those in need.
Although I am not so much an art person, I am fascinated by pictures and clips of heroic
nurses that has influenced the characteristics of nurses today.
