rhyming and non- rhyming words.)

 After that, the students and I will sing a song “Make a rhyme, Make a move”

*this song will help promote students understanding of rhyming words in a
fun and engaging way, in which students are able to move around!
 Next, I will divide students into groups of 3-4 depending on my class size.
 On the white board, each group will come up and drag the missing puzzle
piece to create and make the puzzle whole by dragging the word that
rhymes. This is the IWB assignment by Mrs. Royal. We will be doing this
interactive activity for the majority of class. I will be sitting up at the front
by the whiteboard calling on groups and cheering them on. I will also ensure
every student gets a turn at completing the puzzle on the whiteboard.
 Following this, to end the lesson, I will give them a worksheet that has 6
words and 3 words beside each question. Each question will be a word that
they need to identify a rhyming word for. For example:
1. Pan Ran
Hug
Cat
*the students will circle which word rhymes and I will collect the papers at
the end.
