Topic: The chart below shows the number of travelers using three major airports in New York City

between 1995 and 2000.

The bar chart illustrates the figure for visitors using three different airports, including Jon F.Kennedy,
LaGuardia and Newark in New York City from 1995 to 2000.

In general, all three airports saw an upward trend in the number of passengers choosing three main
airports in New York in most years.

As shown, LaGuadia took the lead in the figure for tourists using its airport in 1995, with around 35
millions of passengers, followed by John F. Kennedy and Newark with roughly 26 millions people and
more than 15 millions people, respectively. LaGuardia saw an sharp rise of around 23 millions of
passengers in the number of visitors using it from 1995 to 2000 and peaked at more than 58 millions
of passengers in 2000, except for 1997. The figure for tourists choosing LaGuardia was lower than that
of John F. Kennedy, with roughly 3 millions of visitors in 1997.

Regarding the remaining airports, John F Kennedy and Newark were ranked the second and the third
in the figure for tourists using their airport in 1995 in turn. In 1997, John F. Kennedy had the highest in
the number of travelers using its airport in comparison with its counterpart. however, 1998 to 1999
saw a slight decrease in the figure for visitors choosing John F. Kennedy from around 38 millions of
people before it recovered to approximately 45 millions of passengers in 2000. Additionally, the
number of tourists using Newark airport increased significantly from more than 15 millions of
passengers to over 37 millions of people between 1995 and 1997 and then it remained at the same
figure( around 42 millions of visitors) from 1998 to 2000.
