What is Link Builder?


Link Builder is a tool that allows FBOs to create custom links to specific products, product categories or
Join pages that include their FBO ID. This ensures the referring FBO receives credit for the sale or sign up.
What pages can I create links to?
The Link Builder tool allows custom links to be created for the foreverliving.com home page, specific
product pages, product category pages and the Join page.
How many links can I create?
Currently, an FBO can have ten links – this will be expanded to fifty very soon!
What is a discount link?
A discount link is a link that contains a 5%, 10% or 15% discount on all products your customer adds
to their shopping basket during that shopping session. The discount links you create can direct your
retail customers to a specific product page or to a product category of your choice.
What is the difference between a discount link and a regular link?
Discount links contain a pre-set percentage discount. Both types of links can be linked to the Home
page, a specific product or product category.
Why would I want to create a discount link?
Discount links are completely optional and can be used by FBOs if they wish to offer a loyalty discount
to their customers. It’s a great way to incentivise new or existing customers by offering a specialised
discount exclusive to their purchase.
How many times can a discount link be used?
A discount link can be used one or two times. The number of times it can be used is set by the FBO
when a link is created.
Why are there limits to how many times an individual discount link can be used?
Discount links are provided as a way for an FBO to create a personalised experience for their
customers. A discount link can provide a way to incentivise new or existing customers at an FBOs
discretion. Limits on discount links discourage discounting on an ongoing basis and help to preserve
the integrity of the prices already established by Forever Living Products.
Can I create different discounts other than those listed?
The only discounts currently available are 5%, 10% and 15%.
If I create a discount link to a specific product or category, will a customer only receive a
discount on those items, or to the entire site?
If a customer uses a discount link, they will receive a discount of the amount specified by the link on
any purchase they make on the website, regardless of the links initial destination.
How will a customer know what discount they are receiving? Where will they see it on the site?
A customer will see the percentage listed in the upper right corner of the site by the FBOs name and
contact information. Pricing will also be adjusted throughout the site as the customer is shopping to
reflect the discount that they will receive.

How can I ensure that my customers can see my contact information when they are shopping
through one of my links?
The FBOs name is always displayed when a link is generated through Link Builder. If the FBO would like
to add their email, phone or both, they can select the check boxes on the bottom of the Link Builder
page to add this information to what the customer sees. The email and phone are pulled from an FBOs
contact information listed in their account.
If a discount link has already been used, will a customer be able to tell when they get to the site?
If a discount link has already been used, the customer will not see any discounted pricing while they are
shopping, or a message in the top right by the FBO contact information with a discount amount.
How will an FBO know how many times their discount link has been used?
FBOs can monitor the usage of their discount links by visiting the Link Builder dashboard and looking at
the “Remaining Uses” column.
Will a used discount link automatically be removed from link builder?
No. Once a link has been used, it will remain in the Link Builder dashboard and will count toward the ten
links allowed. If an FBO chooses, they can delete links at any time and they will no longer count toward
their total links.
What happens when a customer clicks on a link that I have deleted?
If customers click on a link that you have deleted, they will be directed to your retail shop homepage.
Where does the discount the customer receives come from?
The customer discount is offered at the FBOs discretion and will come from the FBOs retail profit.
Where can an FBO see the discount orders reflected in their reports?
An FBO can see the retail purchases made with 5%, 10% and 15% discounts on their Global Orders
Report when logged into their FBO Account Portal. These purchases are listed as retail purchases with
the corresponding discount amount listed in the Order Type column.
Can a Preferred Customer or an FBO use a discount link?
No, discount links will only be valid for customers purchasing at retail pricing. Preferred Customers
and FBOs will not be able to use discount links. If a discount link is clicked by a Preferred Customer or
FBO, the discount will be removed from their order and replaced with discounts based on their current
member status when they log into their account.
If a customer uses a discount link and decides to join, will they receive a discount on their Start
Your Journey Pack or other purchases while going through the join flow?
No, discount codes are for retail purchases only. If a customer enters the Join flow, any discount
connected to a discount link will be removed from their purchase.
