It is widely believed that technology has changed the way many people connect and

significantly influenced the way people communicate with each other. In my opinion, this
trend has both positive and negative effects on that perception due to some of the
following underlying reasons.
On the one hand, there are some notable advantages of using technology in
communication. The first and foremost benefit is many people use social networks, like
Facebook, to make new friends and find people who share common interests, and they
interact through their computers rather than face to face. Second, many teachers and
students use internet services to create new online classes, and face-to-face sessions. For
example, students can participate in video lessons with teachers during the recent covid
situation.
On the other hand, excessive dependence on technology for communication may bring
some concerning drawbacks. Firstly, can also lead to isolating people from the
availability of communication technologies. For example, many people choose to make
friends online because of making friends in the real world, and often this virtual
relationship is a poor substitute for friendship. Secondly, Digital communication tools
often interfere with the bonding time that people share and thus have a negative influence
on interpersonal relationships. For example, many teenagers sacrifice real-life socializing
time for mobile game playing time, which would be likely to cause friends to drift apart
in the long term.
In conclusion, although modern communication technology brings more benefits for
people in various ways according to the above information. If we do not have
technological facilities our life were exactly changed.
