 Present Continuous form:

1) Affirmative (√).

2) Negative (x).

• I am not running. (I’m not)
• We are not speaking. (Aren’t)

 Present Continuous Uses:


1) Action happening now :

• I’m playing tennis now.


• The boat isn’t sailing at the moment.

2) Action happening around the time of speaking:

• Kate and Jack are travelling around the world this year.
• The COVID19 is spreading in the world rapidly.
• Are you making preparation for the wedding?

3) Future arrangements:

• I’m travelling to the USA tomorrow.


• We aren’t attending the school next Monday.
• Is he coming to the party this weekend?
