Nominal Sentence
Nominal sentence is a
sentence that has predicate
not a verb, but can be an Adjective
or Noun, it should be inserted
auxiliary verb to be like is, am, and
are. , general or not general, in-
structs, or plan
of schedule.
Kalimat nominal adalah

Structure Positive - Nominal Sentence

Negative - Nominal Sentence

In the 3rd Person Singular
We add “S”, “ES” OR “IES” at the end of the verb
By adding “S” to the end if a verb
(run > runs, sit > sits, see > sees, play > plays)

By adding “ES” to the end of the verb that has a sibilant
(berdesis) sound – ss, ch, x, tch, sh, zz (teach > teaches,
watch > watches, guess > guesses, mix > mixes, buzz >
buzzes)

By changing final “Y” to “IES” after a consonant + y (s-


tudy > studies, fly > flies, cry > cries)

Tense
