The aim is to get you to try new things
that you’ve never tried before, maybe
learn a new skill and meet other students.
All activities are aimed at beginner level
so why not come along and ‘Give it a Go’.

“The Networking Society is for students interested in Networking and Server
technologies. They have their own lab room in the Old Building which they use
to work on solo projects and collaborate with other members using their own
equipment, funded by yearly memberships and the Student Union. They also have
a private Facebook group where they can communicate with current members
and graduates, now working in industry. The society is made up of a diverse set
of students but all with the common goal of getting the most from their studies
and members of the Networking Society regularly achieve some of the best
