1. Explain the definition of education according to Greek philosophers.

According to Socrates, the definition of education is to give moral and discipline training so

that people can be good, loyal, and law-abiding citizens. According to Plato, a process to

form and educate people so they can become citizens who are good to their country and

society. Lastly, the definition of education from Aristotle is to teach people to obey the rules

and behave well in managing the State administration to achieve happiness in life.

2. What is the goal of education from an Islamic point of view?

The goal of education from an Islamic point of view are manners, morals, knowledge,

awareness and guidance. There are formal and non-formal method to look after and take

 care of individuals intellectually, physically, morally and spiritually intergrated and balanced

guiding to the formation of righteous people who believe in God (Allah SWT).

3. Explain what is meant by humanizing education and state 1 way to humanize education in
daily teaching activities?

Humanizing education is "the process of a person's total growth through the acquisition of

knowledge, skills, competencies, moral principles, and mental habits. Based on Pacansky-

Brock, humanizing emphasizes how crucial it is to build strong bonds between students and

instructors. One of the ways to humanize education in daily teaching activities is teach in

three dimensions like keep the whole-group lessons as short as possible.

4. One of the elements of the National education philosophy is "Creating people who are
balanced and harmonious intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
Explain to what extent this element helps the general public.
This element helps the general public to be intelligent, imaginative, and capable thinker.

Plus, it will develop individuals with a good character and competent. Next, they will also

able to contribute to the community's and nation's increased prosperity. Lastly, National

education philosophy build individual who devoted to the nation, accountable for upholding

amicable interpersonal ties and fostering Malaysian society's cohesiveness.
