Q No: 1 To whom did the place where the Prophet (peace be upon him) had sat
belong?

Answer: The place where the Prophet (peace be upon him) had sat down
belonged to Utabah and Shaibah, the son of Rabi’ah.

Q No: 2 Who sent a bunch of grape for the Prophet (peace be upon him) to eat
Why?

Answer: Utabah and Shaibah the son of Rabi’ah, for some time they watched the
Prophet (peace be upon him) until tender feelings rose with them. They sent
Addas, their Christian servant with a bunch of grapes for the Propet (peace be upon
him) to eat.

Q No: 3 Who was Addas? Why did he begin to kiss the Holy Prophet ( peace be
upon him)?

Answer: Addas was a Christian servant. When the Prophet (peace be upon him)
told him that he is a prophet and Hazrat Yunus (A.S) was a true Prophet. They both
are brothers. Addas then began to kiss the Prophet (peace be upon him) because he
belonged to the tribe of Hazrat Yunas (A.S)

Q No: 4 What was its effect on Utabah and Shaibah?

Answer: The two sons of Rabi’ah marveled at what they saw and heard.

Q No: 5 Give a brief account of al-Asra’ and Al- Mir’aj?

Answer: The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was laying near to Kabah and
angel Jibrael came to him and his heart was filled with Eman. He then rode on
Burraq from Makkah to Jerusalem .After that he rode into the heavens with Angel
Jibrael (A.S) and he himself saw the signs of Allah Almighty.
 Q No: 6 Is it difficult to believe in the night journey of the Holy Prophet (peace be
upon him)? Why?

Answer: Yes it is difficult to believe in the night journey of the Holy Prophet
(peace be upon him) because it is not possible to travel 1200 kilometers in a single
night.

Q No: 7 Who was Umme Hani? Why did she advise the Prophet (peace be upon
him) to keep his night Journey a secret? Did the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)
agree to this?

Answer: Umme Hani was the cousin of the Holy Prophet ( peace be upon him).
She was the daughter of Abu Talib. Umme Hani said to the Holy Prophet (peace be
upon him) to keep this secret saying that nobody would believe you and they
would ridicule and harm you. But the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) did not
agree this because he was true.

Q No: 8 What command did the Messenger of Allah ( peace be upon him) receive
on the occasion of Al- Mir’aj regarding salah?

Answer: The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) received Allah’s command that
all the faithful believers should offer Salah perfectly and that the one who would
offer them with faith and seeking Allah’s pleaure would be considered to have
offered 50 salawaat every day.
