Dear Madam,

APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE IN PAYMENT OF ACADEMIC FEES

My name is Sei Sansah, a second-year nursing student in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences,
department of nursing. I wish to apply for assistance concerning the payment of my academic fees.

Payment of academic fees has been a big challenge to me since school resumed. For, my parents cannot
contribute to my university expenses. The responsibility here fore lies on me in attaining my formal
education. Last year, I afforded the expenses I needed for my stay on campus through my own groundnut
proceeds and remunerations I earned from people who needed labor on their farms. Right from 2019,
when I completed senior high school, to 2021, I did this farming. And it is what had helped me afford the
expenses I needed for my stay on campus last year.

However, whilst on campus, I could not work much. As a result, I could not earn much money. After the
last academic year and my clinicals period ended, I had barely two months to save up all the expenses I
need for this academic year. I did my best, but the amount of money I got is not enough to help me cater
for all my expenses on campus.

I therefore, write to your honorable office to seek your assistance in my academic fees this academic
year. I believe strongly that if I am helped, it would go a long way to reduce the financial constraints and
challenges I am currently going through. It can also help me have sound mind for my studies. Thank you.
