Beauty Standards – Part 5

It’s time to write. You can do it! Take Lizy’s text as an example and write your own article in 120-160 words. You can
write about yourself, a famous person or a fictional character. You must include a positive message from that person. For
example, Lizy’s message is “don’t be afraid to show who you really are”. If you chose to write about yourself, write in 3rd
person as if you were the editor of the magazine/newspaper, etc. You can include pictures.

Before you write take some time to plan your work

Title

It should be an interesting, short title.

Paragraph 1

Introduce the person. Who is she/he, write about her/his routine/habits, etc.

Paragraph 2

Briefly describe the relationship that person has with a

friend/family/partner/couple, etc.

Paragraph 3

Describe that person's special personal qualities/how others see her/him and their message.

The Best Argentine Singer

Pedrito de los Palotes known professionally as El Muchacho is an
actor, singer and writer. He’s 17 years old and is about 1.7m tall.
Every morning he gets up at 8 o’ clock and has breakfast. He always
has fruits for breakfast. Pedrito thinks the most delicious fruit is the
mango and his best friend Consuelo de la Trinidad thinks the same.

El Muchacho and Consuelo de la Trinidad are very close and have a

lot in common. They like the same music, food and movies.
Moreover, Pedrito can always rely on Consuelo’s help whenever he
is facing a difficult situation. Once, he lost his favourite guitar and
Consuelo spent the whole day looking for it.

We can say Pedrito is really friendly and once he gets to know you, he will treat you as part of his family. He’s also a very
straightforward person. If he does not like something, he will make sure to tell you. Pedrito fights to stop bullying on
social media. He always says “you should never judge people based on their appearance”.
