    Please choose and research one of topics below. After your research, organize your materials and make a
    poster. Poster must be colorful and organized. You will present your research to the class.

    1. Compare and Contrast Japanese and Western art:

    4. Traditional Japanese Architecture:


    • Research the architecture pf Japan’s temples, shrines, tea houses etc.

    o Cultural significance
    5. Kabuki:
    • Research the history and cultural significance of kabuki.
    • Name a few famous productions and a brief explanation of those productions.
    • You can include the importance of makeup, costumes, and staging.

    6. Samurai Armor:

    7. Zen Gardens:
    • History
    • Philosophy
    • For the Zen Garden Project, you can either make your own miniature Zen garden or
    poster.
    8. Ukiyo-e:
    • Research the history of Ukiyo-e:
