NARRATOR: Axl’s mom said from afar.

NARRATOR: Then she suddenly cut off her words, she became frail but luckily Axl caught her.

AXL: (with emotions) Mom, you’re sick we need to go home and rest.

MOM: But I need to finish my work, so I could earn my daily wage.

AXL: (with expression and emotion) Your health is unstable, you need to get enough rest or else your
current state will get worse.

NARRATOR: Then Axl’s mom nodded weakly.

NARRATOR: When they arrived home Axel hurriedly help his mom to bed then took care for her the
whole night. Then he decides to take his mom’s task obligately just to earn some money for their
necessity, since his father left them when his mom is still pregnant with him.

NARRATOR: But days goes by, his mom’s state got worse than before. In some time, he was asked if
he could buy seeds for their crops, then he went to the trading market to buy corn seeds. As he went
to buy seeds, he noticed a poster nailed on a bulletin board outside the shop. The text written says,
someone was hiring a greens keeper.

SELLER: Here’s your bag of seed young man.

AXL: thank you madam… may I ask about this poster?

SELLER: That oh! Don Wilhelm the towns lord is hiring a greens keeper. If you want to apply go to
Village Hayleigh, street 16.

AXL: Thank you

NARRATOR: Axl rapidly when to the farm carrying a bag of corn seeds. While walking he thought of
applying to be a greens keeper, there’s a possibility it might help their expenses especially his mom
is badly sick.

The next day he told his mom that he would be going to the farm even though it was his day off but
he confidentially when to the lord’s mansion to apply, because he knew if he told his mom that he
will apply in a job she will never allow him. Ought he is capable to do so but considering that he is
still young.

MAID: Good Morning, how may I help you sir?

AXL: Good morning, may I ask if you’re still hiring a greens keeper?

MAID: Ah, yes indeed we in fact need a greens keeper. Are good at planting?

AXL: yes, I work in a farmer which the owners have a garden that I take care and manage.

Egla(Head maid): ohh, does you know how to do the garden and take care of it?

NARRATOR: She asked Axl

Egla(Head maid): Very well then, you may start tomorrow. And Bea please tour this young man to
the Garden.

MAID: Yes, ma’am.

NARRATOR: The maid toured Axl around the garden on what will he do because the Lord has his
certain preferences in everything especially his garden. That night he told his mom about his new
job. She was mad and worried that he might face numerous of heavy work but he still insist.

MOM: Ok I will allow you but make sure that you won’t get hurt or sick.

AXL: Yes, mom I will.

NARRATOR: It’s been months since he started his job and he enjoyed it. Not until…

AXL: Hey, what are you doing to those flowers?
