Part 2
In this part of the test, I’d like you to talk about something
together for about three minutes.

I’d like you to imagine that you are university students who live
in the same house and you are renting one room in this house.
There are six students who want this room. What´s good about
each one? Who is the best option? Now, you have some time to
look at the task.

(You have 30-45 seconds to look at the task)

Talk to each other about the good things each student has and
decide who the best option is to share the house with you.
These students want to rent a room in your house. What´s
good about each person?

Joe – sociable / always posting on social media


Cecilia – creative / likes cooking
Adam – honest / not very tidy
Lina – good at listening to people. Her family always visits her
Danny - quiet / doesn´t mind when things take a long time
Rose - always in a quiet mood / very tidy

Decide who the best option is to share the house with you.

common.
• How often do you use social media?
• Do you prefer spending most of your time alone or with other
people?
• What is your favourite possession? Why?
• What do you like about the place where you live?

country. There are some sentences for you to discuss and
decide if they are polite or rude in your country.
