INT. HALLWAY

CAMERA FACES FREDO'S FACE

Fredo is walking in a hallway, fixing his suit, hair, etc,

getting ready to reunite with his partner after a long
parting. He then opens the door, there we see Al, his
partner is reading a newspaper with his glasses down, and
has a band aid on his face.

FREDO
Excuse me have you seen a white
male, wears glasses like an old
man, and always read a newspaper?

AL
Ow, you dumb moron, get in here.

Al stands up, he shakes his hand.

AL
It's been a long time, buddy, I
missed you.

FREDO
Yeah, well I missed you too, wait
what happen to your head? Did
somebody did this to you? Was it
the Corleone's brothers? Or is it
that chef from Hermanos's pizza?

AL
No no Fredo, it's nothing, nobody
did this, I did it to myself, you
know I got clumsy and I knocked
myself out.

FREDO
You sure? Well if anybody touches
you, you tell me okay.

AL
Yeah, dont worry bout it, come,
take a seat.

They both take a seat, and ordered drinks

AL
So what would like to order?

FREDO
A coffee's fine for me

AL
Yeah me too.

Al talks to a waiter

AL
We'll have a cup of coffee and tea
with no sugar please.

WAITER
Sure.

Waiter walks out from the room. Fredo complains that room is
so cold, and tries to adjust the AC by grabbing the remote.

FREDO
Jeez, why is the room so cold, hold
on let me adjust it

AL
Oh no you can't, the remote is
broken, I've tried it couple times
before, it's useless. Come, sit
down.

FREDO
Alright, it's just that it's so
cold you know, don't u feel cold
too?

AL
Nahh, don't worry bout it, the cold
is gonna be gone soon either.

FREDO
Okay.

AL
So, how's your dad and your mom?

FREDO
Well, to be honest with you, I
haven't talk to them yet, I haven't
even seen their face and their
nagging for a while.

Fredo tries to impersonate their parents

FREDO
You know "Fredo, why do you go home
so late, Fredo why do you always
buy expensive shit, we can't afford
that"

AL
Hahaha, parents, you're lucky you
still got one.

FREDO
Yeah, I miss them, man. I miss them
alot

Waiter arrived to give coffee and tea

SHOT FROM CEILING OF HANDING COFFEE AND TEA

Waiter leaves the room

AL
You miss them real bad?

FREDO
Yeah.

AL
Well, bad things happened to you
and you gotta do what you gotta do.

FREDO
Yeah, that fucking cop almost got
me, he was this close. Then he had
to make me lay low, I had to live
in a fucking slump for 2 months. I
can't call anyone, I can't call
you, I can't call my mom, my dad,
hell. I can't even eat in a
restaurant cause there's cameras
everywhere. Can you imagine how
painful it was?

AL
Fredo, I understand you, it was
painful, I appreciate your
struggle. You've been gone for a
while, it is painful for me too.
But you're my brother, you're the
only guy I can trust in this world,
you know that I will always help
you, I will always be there for
you.

FREDO
I appreciate that man, you're my
brother too.

AL
Yeah, come, let's drink

They drink, and Al Stares at Fredo constantly.

AL
Hey, who knows, maybe next time if
you got in trouble again, I can
take care of your mom and dad.

Fredo suddenly stuttered and became nervous

FREDO
Umm, ye, ye. yeah, sure, let's just
hope I dont get in trouble again.

They both laugh, one with evil laugh, one with nervous
laugh. Fredo then drink his coffee again, and talked about
how cold the room is

FREDO
I think the room is getting colder,
dont you feel it too?

AL
What, I think something's wrong
with your skin, cause Im fine. Im
great actually. You know what,
drink your coffee more, maybe that
will heat you up.

FREDO
That's what I've been doing!

Al then randomly asked

AL
Alright alright, relax. Hey, dont
mind if I ask but, if you weren't a
crook today, what do you wanna be?

Fredo gets a little bit frustrated.

FREDO
Wh wh what? Like a dream?

AL
Yeah

FREDO
Um, I always wanna be a pilot.

AL
Why?

FREDO
I don't know, it's just cool to see
the world from above, and the
skies, clouds, everything, it's
beautiful

AL
Nice, what about a love life? Have
you ever planned to find a
soulmate?

FREDO
What? Why do you keep asking random
questions?

AL
I don't know Im just curious.

FREDO
Why can't we just talk about our
next job? I need the money man.

AL
Sure, but I thought we could
discuss it over that beautiful hill
you like, so it'll be more cozy.

FREDO
No no, it's fine here, Im cozy
enough.

AL
Alright, alright. I got a job, it's
a simple rendezvous. There's gonna
be a dealer named Vito we're gonna
meet in the Victoria field, I'll
purchase some weed from him, he's
gonna give me the weed, and I'll
hand him the money.

FREDO
Wait, wait so where do I come in?

AL
Well, I need you to find a way to
kill him discreetly and take our
money back.

FREDO
How about I kill him with a sniper?

AL
Can't, the ground's too flat.

FREDO
Hmm, does he have a car?

AL
Yeah, he does.

FREDO
Maybe I could just sneak to his car
when he's counting the money, and
once he gets in the car, I'll kill
him

AL
Sounds like a plan.

FREDO
Great, as easy as that. Anyway, how
much money are we talking here? 50?
60? 100?

AL
Everything you need to know is
right in this box, open it.

Al grabs a box near him, and pat it twice, and gave it to

Fredo.

FREDO
Nice man, you came in prepared, I'm
guessin it's 100 grand.

AL
Maybe you should check it by
yourself.

Fredo laughs and says alright or ok.

FREDO
Alright

Fredo opens the box, and see a few pictures, it's not
related to a job, it's a picture of him ratting Al out to
the feds. Fredo gets irritated and starts to mess with the
box, while Al calmly but flatly stares at him.

FREDO
Al, what is this? This isn't about
the job.

AL
I don't know, what do you see?

FREDO
I don't see any information about
the money. Why do you have a
picture of me?

Al just looks at him

FREDO
WITH THE FEDS? AND YOU BEING HIT?

Fredo looks at Al

FREDO
WAIT WAIT WAIT, DO YOU THINK I RAT
YOU OUT?

AL
I dont know, what does the picture
say?

FREDO
YOU THINK I RAT YOU OUT TO THE FEDS
AND HURT YOU? AL YOU KNOW ME I
WOULDN'T DO THIS TO YOU, YOU'RE MY
BROTHER...

AL
Fredo...

FREDO
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS PICTURE?
WHERE?

AL
It doesn't matter Fredo.

FREDO
NO NO, IT'S NOT ME, IT'S NOT ME

AL
Fredo... Enough, I know it's you, I
know you rat me out when you were
gone, I know you faked your escape,
I know you went to the feds. But
why? You break my heart Fredo, you
break my heart.

Fredo breathes heavily, he can't say anything, all he can do

is point a gun to beneath the table.

AL
THAT IS NOT THE BEST CHOICE FREDO.
I'M WARNING YOU.

FREDO
SHUT UP!

Fredo points the gun aggressively. Al looks at the door, he

came up with an idea.

AL
Fredo, I have 2 hitmen waiting for
my order behind that door, if you
do this, they will not only kill
you, but they will kill your
family. And I can assure you that
your family will die in an
agonizing way.

Fredo looks scared and ran out of choice, he starts to stare

at that door repeatedly while looking at Al at the same
time.

FREDO
LIAR!

AL
Check the door if you don't believe
it.

While Fredo is focused at looking at the door, Al

immediately takes his gun and shoots him

OUTSIDE ROOM SHOT WITH GUN BLASTING SOUND.
